I scheduled my surgery two months out. And the morning of Dr. Obaid came in there and drew on me and all the nurses and anesthesiologist were very nice kind and considerate. Dr. Obaid may not be the cheapest, and who knows if he's the most expensive but you pay for what you get. He truly is a master at what he does- he is an artist. I am one that has had five different breast argumentation's in the past by different board-certified plastic surgeons. And he just made me look like a brand new person. My body looks amazing and I can't be any happier and I'm healing very well. If you're wondering what all I had done I had a mommy makeover as well as bodytite to the moms area with liposuction. And liposuction 360, also I had liposuction and bodytite to my chin area and liposuction and bodytite to my arms. Basically I had the works done and he did a fantastic job!!!! Also wanted to give a huge shout out to Lisa in the OR my overnight nurse she was fantastic and that's not even the best word that I can use for her ,because there was no one else that could have put up with me every five minutes needing something without getting frustrated or annoyed. I thought I was sleeping for 2 to 3 hours every single time I went to sleep in the recovery room but really it was just for five minutes and then I would wake up needing something else. Lol I wish I could have taken Lisa home with me. And my morning nurse was phenomenal as well. his staff is truly amazing. but needless to say my experience has been phenomenal and if you're looking for a board certified plastic surgeon then look no further than Dr. Obaid

This practice is terrible. I would highly encourage anybody to go elsewhere. There care about…read morenothing but money. They are not inclusive of the spouse and may zero accommodations for you to see or support your spouse. The communication is terrible and they did not even explain to my wife the medication she was supposed to use, which resulted in her almost taking blood thinners long after she was supposed to stop. She had complications with retaining water and they won't explore other options, but merely drain her three times a week. Texas is a large state with very qualified professionals, just go elsewhere, you will be thankful you did. This place was an awful experience and I would never recommend it.

It took me by surprise to say the least, but tried to stay positive. After a couple of weeks it was obvious that something was wrong. Candice finally worked me into her schedule but denied anything was wrong. She did however prescribe antibiotics that later hid the infection making it more difficult to treat. Candice refused to give me a referral, but I was able to find an ENT facial plastic surgeon that as soon as he saw me, knew what happened and what to do. I had to have a drain placed in my mouth up into my cheek for the infection to drain out along with a hospital stay for over a week on strong antibiotics. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR!

I am amending a review I posted earlier in the week. I had originally given the office a 1 star…read morerating because of the lack of communication and other factors (the original review is below). However, Dr. Obaid called me personally to rectify the situation. If only all Doctors cared this much about what a patient went through! Our case is a very small cyst that has to be removed from my son's head, and he could just as easily moved on to bigger cases. I am extremely impressed that he would take the time to call us and actually cares about what happens to my son. Original Review: If I could give this office less than one star I would. We had a consultation to remove a small cyst from my sons forehead on December 1st 2014 at his Southlake location. I was told that they would get back with me within a couple of weeks once benefits had been verified. I gave them over a month and when I still had not heard back I called and was told that someone would get back with me. Almost two weeks later still nothing. Called last Thursday and was told by the office manager that the person I needed to speak with was on the phone and that she would get back to me within the hour. 5 days later, I called again to be put on hold for almost 10 minutes only to be told that we have not met any of our deductible. I do medical billing and am well aware that we are over halfway to our deductible. I thought that after waiting this long at least the information would be correct. I was looking at my benefits page as I was speaking with her. Absolutely deplorable professionalism. Not even an apology. I guess that since we were not there for high end cosmetic surgery, we did not qualify for professional, courteous or even accurate service.

After receiving my quote, the price was a lot higher than the promo currently being offered. I messaged Ellie and she was non responsive. After about 2 weeks I call and ask to speak to someone in regards to the price I was given. I was rescheduled for a 2nd consult (in the middle of a move but I made time.) I log into the consult again and there's no doctor or nurse but there's Ellie and she tells me the Dr is finishing a surgery and will join shortly. I wait 10 mins... she comes back on the video chat and says he can not join the consultation and he is not be changing the price because I'm too thin. What? I have excess fat and loose skin btw. No nurse, no doctor, just the unresponsive worker I initially had. She puts me on hold then hangs up. At this point I feel like she's insulting my intelligence. I call again and she said immediately "Dr Lutter will not be doing your surgery you can try someone else." Please I urge you to go someplace else. They do not honor promo prices and then when you ask about it, they are VERY dismissive and give you the run around with a million excuses that make 0 sense. Once I was finally able to schedule, I provided all requested information. A few weeks later, I received a text message requesting my Social Security number, stating it was required by my insurance. I explained that I was not comfortable sending sensitive information via text and that I would call to provide it. I also shared that I had already provided my member and group ID and had spoken with my insurance carrier, who confirmed the information they needed. The response I received from Jennifer was dismissive and argumentative, including comments about her years of experience and questioning what my insurance representative told me rather than addressing my concern. On the day of my appointment, my car broke down. I notified the office ahead of time and communicated with a scheduler through text to reschedule. I never received a response. After several weeks, I called and requested to speak with an office manager because I felt the communication issues needed to be addressed. As someone who also manages a medical office, I understand the importance of receiving patient feedback and resolving concerns professionally. Unfortunately, my conversation with Jennifer was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening to my concerns, she became defensive, interrupted me repeatedly, raised her voice, and placed me on hold while I was trying to explain the issue. My concern was never that the staff was rude -- it was that communication was inconsistent and responses were not timely. When I tried to explain this, I was told that I was "on the phone with her now" and that she could either help me or I could "find another place." That response was unprofessional and did not reflect a patient-centered approach. I hope the dentist reviews how patient concerns are handled and provides additional training on communication, professionalism, and conflict resolution. There are many dental offices that value their patients' time and feedback, and unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to look elsewhere.

A week later, I received an email saying that I needed to pay $142 because the insurance company would not pay for it and we had to pay the cost. Their billing department repeatedly said that CD X-rays is not usually available in every clinic, so why didn't they inform us of this before doing this project? We could have called the insurance company immediately to inquire and decide whether to do this special CD X-ray after understanding it clearly. As an experienced and professional dental clinic, they should be transparent about the charges and inform us to contact insurance company in advance about the charges instead of inducing us to send the bills afterwards. This is so bad and took advantage of patient making ugly money. Because there is no rating lower than one star, I can only choose one star that they don't deserve.
