We called him on a Sunday with a very tight deadline and he was eager to get to the property and provide us with a detailed report (photos included) within hours of the inspection. As we were making amendments to our home contract (based on the report), he was available to answer our questions and explain exactly what it was we needed to ask for. Not only does Robert look in every nook and cranny, he also uses that newfangled thermal imaging thing that other places charge $200-400 extra for. With it, he found that there was insulation missing behind a firewall in the attic. An honest mistake by the contractors, but one that would've resulted in a hotter summer in the master bedroom. On top of being an expert, ATEX Inspects seems to have some of the more affordable home inspection services in the Greater Houston area. (He's easily worth twice as much.)

I hired him to inspect my house after having been flooded in 4 feet of water for two weeks by Harvey. Charlie is thorough, knowledgable, responsible, and extremely patient in answering all my questions and explaining to me the nuisances of building methods. Beside his expert knowledge, I am most impressed by his passion for homes and structures. He really appreciates the homeowners' desire to understand what is happening to their homes and has the patience and ability to explain the technicals so that any homeowner could understand. It took a while to get his availability, but he was definitely worth the wait! I am so glad to have his expert knowledge on my side during this rebuild.

In this case, my mother-in-law's home had several roofing issues that we initially believed would be covered by insurance. Chris Lackey, a highly qualified sales representative, worked closely with us and the insurance adjusters to pursue the best possible coverage for her. Although the claim was ultimately not honored, we moved forward with Brinkmann's recommendations, and the results were magnificent. A big shout-out to Billy's installation crew and to Jacob Zalomski, who stepped out of his office role to make sure everything was running smoothly in the field. We also want to sincerely thank owner Jason Brinkmann for his personal assistance and exceptionally fair business practices. One thing is certain: if you need any type of roofing work done, I can confidently say that Brinkmann will handle your needs with grace, professionalism, and the highest quality craftsmanship. Thanks, guys -- job well done.

Our experience with Brinkmann Roofing was unacceptable…read more During a roof replacement at my elderly parents' home, their crew damaged the backside of the chimney--an area not visible from the ground and not easily noticed. When we reported it, instead of taking responsibility, Brinkmann tried to charge my parents $2000.00 to repair the damage they caused. (Later repaired for $500.00 in less than 2 hours) This raises serious concerns about their workmanship and integrity. If you're considering Brinkmann Roofing, proceed with caution and make sure everything is well documented.
