I've tried a LOT of different things to get in shape and lose weight - workout videos, boot camps,…read moregyms, classes, nutrition programs. With all of them, it was easy to convince myself that I was doing "enough" to achieve my goals, and I would get frustrated when I continued to feel tired all the time and my weight wasn't dropping. I've always been a bit uncomfortable about my fitness level at the gym and at boot camps. When I received a mailer for a free session at NexGen Fitness, and saw that they offered private personal training, I decided to try it. The Colleyville location is new, clean, private, convenient, and well equipped. The staff is friendly, upbeat, and positive. After my first session with Anthony, I realized that my version of "enough" wasn't going to cut it, if I really wanted to make a change. Several things were very clear after that first session: (1) I'm out of shape . . . I mean REALLY out of shape. (2) There is a difference between going through the motions of exercise, and actually doing the exercises correctly. (3) I don't know how to properly use gym equipment.
It's easy to glide through at the gym, in classes, or in boot camp (if you can convince yourself to go at all). You may not even realize that you are doing it. But, when you commit to the personal training sessions at NexGen Fitness, there is no hiding in the back-row option. Your goals are what matter, and Anthony and the other trainers at NexGen Fitness know how to teach, train, motivate, and push you to your goals. Goals take time, so why wouldn't you want help to achieve them faster? If you want to get in shape, lose weight, build muscle, learn how to properly exercise/use gym equipment, or achieve some other goal then you NEED NexGen Fitness, and someone like Anthony to push you beyond your "enough".
