We got exactly what I needed with the 650 score ..He got me out of a 159% Loan and down to 17%.. Numbers speaks for itself. I'm beyond grateful! He is a real one come check him out. YOUNG OLD SOUL! I joined the credit union because I wanted to be treated like a human being not a number like a…read morenational bank. After 4 years with NO overdrafts or any other issues, my mother in law wrote me a check just north of $90k. I deposited in on a Friday and they said there would be a hold. I get it. Thats common for a check that size. On Monday, the check she wrote cleared her credit union. On Wednesday, 5 days after it was deposited, I called to ask if they could release the funds. The lady on the phone said she would submit the request and someone would get to it by Friday. She also said, if they can't release all of the funds, would there be lesser amount that would "help". I said $25,000 would be fine. She then asked what the funds would be used for. Is that really any of her, or the credit unions business? It is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS what the funds are for. Church donation, Vegas trip, hookers and blow? A violation of privacy on their part! Well, on Friday, I called to see what their "ruling" was. I had to wait 17 minutes to get to a human. I was then put on hold to be transferred to the branch manager because I requested to speak to the manager of my branch. The call was disconnected 10 minutes later while I was on hold. I called back in and waited another 16 minutes to get to a human. They said they would not release ANY of the funds. THE CHECK HAS BEEN CLEARED NOW FOR 8 DAYS!!!! SO.... Here is what you can expect from Texas Bay Credit Union: 1. YOU are just a number. They are like allllllll the national banks in that they will only loan you an umbrella on a sunny day. NO advantage to a credit union and NO quantity of locations. 2. You will be treated like a common criminal and disrespected after years of banking with them and you will have to ask mommy for an allowance and explain what you want to spend YOUR money on. 3. You WILL NEVER get a call back from the actual branch manager. (Still haven't spoken to her. It is now Sunday, 10 days after the check was deposited.) Maybe day ELEVEN will be different. Not holding my breath. Don't misunderstand me, the big banks won't be any nicer to you or provide better service, but at least you have more ATM's to use around the state and the world.

Once there the young lady that was trying to resolve issue looked lost.she asked for support and the person she asked told her for me to take a seat till she was done with her members.witch I found insulting since I was there to resolve auto loan of $16,000. I had spent two hours earlier to resolve an issue in which insurance was added to the loan of $350 per month for insurance. We provided the necessary documents but help from anyone. Once the account was charged a late fee of $35 a month.mind you the account is set up for Direct withdrawal monthly.I spoke to a person named Jackie that has no professionalism and has totally forgot that customers come first. The attention they provide is horrible.now I see why your lobby's are empty with no customers and rightfully so. People spend their hard earned money to be treated this way is totally unacceptable.decided to drive to this branch for better service and it turned out even worse for $70 .I will spread the word of how horrible your service is and will never set foot in your establishment. There was fraud on my debit card, my account was drained, they only caught 2 of the smaller transactions, and reversed them. They said I would have to do a dispute for the rest of the charges even though they were only minutes apart. They make you come in to a branch and sign forms about the fraud, this took me about 30 minutes in the branch. They told me I would get the money back in 3-5 days. That's not the norm, first off. I called back in 4 business days to check on the status to find out the papers were never "sent in" from the branch I visited, so they can't process my money back to me. The customer service "manager" couldn't get ahold of the branch I signed papers at, so they have to request the papers electronically. I was on the phone for 25 minutes while she tried to get someone in the branch to answer the phone, just for her to tell me she couldn't help me today because no one would answer the phone at that branch. Then she continued to question me as if I never went in and signed the papers. They said they do not have to give me any type of provisional credit for the next 10 days and they will get back to me. This bank is a joke.

Literally it took over a month to get it processed. The online application system and loan processor takes forever to get back to you. Once it's finally done, I was getting call backs that it wasn't fully paid and I owed money. Then, their app doesn't even work to set up payments. Truly not worth the interest rate you save. If you have idle time & are willing to go through the hassle, then maybe it's worth it. If you don't have the time for this Mickey Mouse BS, go somewhere else.

Fast forward 3 weeks later, still no debit card. Pamela at the Blodgett location tells me ( full of attitude) that for security reasons debit card aren't mailed & I'd have to come into a branch, request a debit card... so I guess Unity doesn't issue personalized debit cards with customer names, or maybe they just have their own printing machine on location to do this(really Pamela?) So if I lose my debit card , I'd have to drive to one their few and non- convenient locations. No ma'am. Closing my account TODAY after less than a month. Per Pamela, I have to mail a letter asking to close my account. When I asked what address to mail it to, she says,"the P.O.Box address" again full of attitude... I held the phone waiting for her to get "regain her composure" and she reluctantly gave me the address.
