My son was taught to honor adults and these people were suppose to be there to help students. That is WHY YHEY DON'T LET PARENTS TALK WITH SCHOOL STAFF, because adults would catch on to there graft. It is fairly easy to find friends here because people here are a lot more open. They make the college experience enjoyable, instead of feeling like you are just going to school for an education and that's it. You can find some life-long friends here because everyone doesn't have a high school friend that follow you around--people actually want to find different people who share the same interests as you. The professors here are a lot better than South (I'm not saying South doesn't have good professors) I've taken many classes here that ratemyprofessor.com reviews were greater. The student center is actually revolved around the students and their needs. They have a huge cafeteria that serves fast food and homemade food. The bookstore is Barnes and Noble and Starbucks--usually they have textbooks that South or North campus doesn't have. There's a certain area with lounge chairs, and a huge flat screen tv specifically for relaxing and getting your mind off of your classes. They have a lot more clubs here that fits any interest you may have. The gym is huge and has a mildew smell to it--I don't know maybe because it its an old building or so. They have recreational sports where you can meet new people and revolved around having fun. Also, cardio and weight rooms for exercise This campus has so many resources that South doesn't have. Those who want and are planning to study in this school system, do not do it guys, you will reget, this school has stupid admissions, the quality of teachers is terrible, the students are also very bad. When you come to school, they ask for a tax paperwork sign papers and SSN, before studying they say the Government supports you for your tuition but I still pay 130$, I took 1 hour lesson but i feel the teacher are so bad, The staff is too bad, too bad, They speak a lot Spanish with a lot accents, so I don't study anymore, I feel that my English level is better than the students here, I quit even though I paid for a course. The main reason we spent a lot of time on this campus is because this is where Barbie has done a lot of her long marathon distance type running. They host a lot of runs here on this beautiful wooded campus and it has so much greenery that it's pretty amazing to be honest. Definitely one of the prettiest campuses in the Houston area, and they have a hell of a lot of greenery which is just gorgeous. Better than having blue-ery anyway.

However, I wouldn't say it's every Houstonians choice, there are still a lot of locals that go elsewhere, such as my sex goddess who went Ivy League, and her sister who went to Austin and so on. The old campus leaves something to be desired, so does traffic. The new downtown campus is amazing. The school is doing well in the rankings although outside Houston it's not really viewed as a big, prestigious school at all. Still a great school though. The sports teams are better than ever, the basketball team might be one of the best in the country.

And I can honestly say it has been an amazing decision. I contemplated on going back because I wasn't sure if I would feel left behind with younger adults knowing more technology that I do. It has been an extremely easy transition. Okay my review of the school. At first it might seem unorganized. And this school might not be a right fit for everyone. But one thing I have learned with this school is that they honestly care about the students. And they want you to succeed. The classes aren't extremely big and EVERY single professor is available to help you. The school itself isn't as expensive as other schools either. If you're considering going to college. Or returning back to school I recommend this one. But just go back and do it!!

I have been trying to get clear information about their aviation program for months, and the lack of communication and professionalism is disappointing. At this point, I honestly question how many of the positive reviews are from actual students, because my experience has been the complete opposite. I wanted to support an HBCU aviation program, but this kind of administration gives the school a terrible reputation. It makes prospective students feel like they are not a priority.

I have to make special mention of Scott Bennett, the registrar at the college. This man is nothing short of miraculous; he is ALWAYS there for students, he goes above and beyond his duties to ensure that students are able make the most of their time at Lee. I am also a Student Assistant at Lee College, and I have been for about 2 years. I was primarily employed with Resource Development, then I got employed with Finance. My coworker Karen really is awesome. She always works around my school schedule and allows me to take time to complete my assignments! Overall, this college takes the cake for me.
