As many as you know I am a student of the South campus, but I take some classes at Central. I will…read morehave to say as I do love South; Central bets it all because: Students here actually talk to you, and are sociable than the students at South. It is fairly easy to find friends here because people here are a lot more open. They make the college experience enjoyable, instead of feeling like you are just going to school for an education and that's it. You can find some life-long friends here because everyone doesn't have a high school friend that follow you around--people actually want to find different people who share the same interests as you. The professors here are a lot better than South (I'm not saying South doesn't have good professors) I've taken many classes here that ratemyprofessor.com reviews were greater. The student center is actually revolved around the students and their needs. They have a huge cafeteria that serves fast food and homemade food. The bookstore is Barnes and Noble and Starbucks--usually they have textbooks that South or North campus doesn't have. There's a certain area with lounge chairs, and a huge flat screen tv specifically for relaxing and getting your mind off of your classes. They have a lot more clubs here that fits any interest you may have. The gym is huge and has a mildew smell to it--I don't know maybe because it its an old building or so. They have recreational sports where you can meet new people and revolved around having fun. Also, cardio and weight rooms for exercise This campus has so many resources that South doesn't have. It is because this was the first campus built because this is the Main campus.

I had wanted to take a spanish class, called was told to register on line, need a G #, ok did that,…read morecould not figure out what to do next so I called again, spoke to the admissions office, explained to them that I wanted to take a non credit spanish class, was told none available, I asked about the free classes for senior citizens, I am 71, Was told only Arts & crafts classes are for senior citizens, gee I am not sure at my age If I can glue two popsicle sticks together. Do you know insulting this Is, so the advertisement stating free classes for seniors is false. If I still want to take a spanish class I can register and pay for It that's the only way. Gee I sure hope my taxes I have paid for 45 years and the 47.5 million dollars they now have will be used for more than the security and staff saleries, but to me does not look like It.

I genuinely have no words for this campus, I came here for only one semester and they found a way…read moreto ruin my college experience and scam me out of thousands of dollars. My food card would deactivate randomly and I would go days without food, my card for the garage would malfunction and I would be locked in the garage because of this, I had my belongings stolen from roommates that I was paired with and when I made a report they did nothing about it, I moved into their dorms only to move in with an old friend of mine, and they went out of their way to make sure I did not get a dorms with him even though all the requirements were met. This school struggles in the class departments too, I have had the displeasure of meeting quite a few nasty professors and find it disheartening for all the students here. I was charged for 2 years of dormitory and a meal plan even though I was only there for one and when I went to dispute the charge they simply ignored my email and then sent me an email to pay it back and said it was to late to dispute the charges. I honestly recommend no one goes to this location for their schooling and I hope this school finds new management because it is just a money hungry organization that does not care about its students.
