From day one, I felt abandoned and left to figure things out entirely on my own. The staff and teachers simply do not do their jobs, failing to provide any meaningful assistance or support to students. The expectation here is that you handle everything by yourself, which is incredibly frustrating and not conducive to learning. I've learned next to nothing during my time at Fortis Institute because the teachers do not engage or assist in any meaningful way. I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with this school. I would never recommend Fortis Institute to anyone. Save your time and money and look for a better institution that actually cares about its students' education and success.

Very unfair and inconsiderate when it comes to students. She's been here for years so I assume my complaints won't be acknowledged, I'm sure I am not the first person to complain about her. Fortis need to do better and hire people who care about their students and aren't using their position unethically. She has made me very discouraged, and I am considering dropping out and finding another school. I haven't had any other problems with any other instructors other than her. My whole class complains amongst ourselves but no one wants to complain to the school. But I do not care, I took a loan out and I'm not getting the education I'm paying for. She doesn't follow the lesson plans that are in our modules, so we are unprepared for assignments. I think I'm going to have to drop out and go to another school because this woman is on a power trip.

I have repeatedly asked them to take me off their various lists since having gone to school for many years and earning a few degrees including an MBA, I have zero desire to be a Medical coding and billing specialist. They continue to contact me every waking moment. My next course of action will involve some legal measures.

Attended the naturalization ceremony today, 2369 new citizens and their family members in the…read morestadium. The event was well organized given the large amount of participants. Tips for future new citizens: 1. Parking is very packed so try to come early, the line looks endless but it moves fast; 2. They offer new ssn and passport registration after the ceremony, bring check or cash if you want new passport 3. The judge will stay and take photo with anyone who are interested, while I was standing in line for photo there were ssn employee approaching us to help with new ssn application, if I knew this earlier I wouldn't waste time standing in line with ssn before my photo 4. Letter says arrive at 7am but ceremony didn't start until 10am, the line to take photo or getting passport can be hour long, bring reading material for the long wait.

I am in the Police Academy at…read morethis college and I am little upset at the fact that my classmates and I where suppose to get the Coach for PT weeks ago, and now we have a month until the PT test which most of the class will fail, which we paid for and will have to pay for again if we fail. It is the colleges responsibility to have the coach ready for us, which they have failed to do. I only like the instructors at the college, I mostly like Mrs. Ratliff, who is very nice and understanding.
