Arlington is already diverse but it was good to see all the different backgrounds my friends were. The greatest compliment has been my child saying about her old school, "I'm not returning because I love CU." (Talk about music to our ears when she said that.) CU is a warm, family-oriented environment that caters to the individual child. It provides the academic rigor vital for us, along with a host of enrichment opportunities from robotics and animal husbandry to chess and cheer. During our exploration, what sealed the deal was what we witnessed during our CU tour. We passed a group of children (who appeared close in age to my child) working on a group project in the library. They were discussing their different perspectives and had books that they were referencing. While we knew nothing about the project, I was impressed by how immersed they were in the work, and all appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the educational experience. So many vital skills were underway without them knowing it, which filled us with optimism about our child's future development at CU. Our family couldn't be happier to be part of the CU family. Our daughter is thriving; she has the best, most wonderful teacher. It's a true partnership, and we're beyond grateful. If you're looking for a program for your child, I recommend CU.
