just now New I would…read morelike to start off by saying.... I am a first time grandmother and it is truly a blessing. We did not think that we would have needed childcare... but I must say the search has been so stressful annd overwhelming ...until Celebree and Mrs Mindi. I have researched, called and read reviews of all the prestigious child care facilities locally. It's crazy because I just started a new job ... working Monday thru Friday getting off at 5:30pm.. so that makes interviewing any childcare facility during the week IMPOSSIBLE. And wait... mostly all the facilities are closed on the weekends. My daughter is going to school during the week and doing her exterm... so .. she could not visit as well. I spoke to many facilities that just could not accommodate a visit after hours... nor a scheduled visit or interview on a Saturday morning. I found a few that would allow me to send someone else to view on my behalf during the week... or just simply direct led me to their website. Well, I was blessed with a call back from Mindi at Celebree letting me know that she was willing to open up the Daycare just for myself, my daughter and my grandbaby to visit Saturday at 9am. The facility is closed on that day... however the accommodation was stellar. Not only did she give us a personal tour... but she allowed my baby to get down and experience the facility briefly. We were not rushed at all... she went over everything. Mindi didn't know how much this meant to me. She sacrificed a portion of her time.... Just for us. No directing me to a website to pictures. She interacted with my granddaughter.... and she was just happy and full of smiles. This made me feel confident about making a decision of choosing Celebree. The fact that she made us a priority... when so many other childcare facilities were willing to just let us walk away. My granddaughter was just another child to them... but Mindi made us feel like family! And that's important... as parents we must feel secure in knowing that we are leaving our babies in safe hands... and with people that truly care. We start next week, and I couldn't have made a better choice. I stopped by today... just to confirm and do paperwork and I was greeted by Evette and Celeste. Both friendly and welcoming. This was a great experience... as it should be anytime one is making a decision about care for a child. I am so thankful for Mindi calling me back... because if not... I would have been stuck with basic choices... instead of getting the best in service! I appreciate all of their time, patience, and concern! Thank you!

From the moment I walked through the door, it was clear that this preschool goes above and beyond in every way. These two women were so welcoming and kind. After discussing the schools philosophy and curriculum I feel very confident that my children will excel at this school. I can't wait for their school to open this Fall so that we can become a member of their school family. It's evident that they have thought through every detail to ensure a nurturing and educational setting.

I know taking care of children is one of the toughest jobs out there and no one center is perfect…read morebut after leaving bright horizons POTA, our daughter (and us, her parents) is so much happier. This was our first experience with daycare and Bright Horizons was supposed to be one of the better ones so I just assumed that the problems and inconveniences we had were all a part of process. Now that our daughter goes to another school, I realized that Bright Horizons POTA has a few flaws. I especially dreaded pick up and drop off due to no fault of their own. Bright Horizons POTA is just in an inconvenient location. Pick ups and drop offs could take upwards of 30 minutes each! The parking is on the fifth floor and the daycare is in the basement. The parking garage is supposed to read your toll tag when exiting but this was inoperable so we had to wait to get our parking validated each time. It just took too much time waiting for parking validation, waiting for elevators, etc. As a working parent, I wanted to spend that precious time with my child. At pick ups in the evenings, the front desk attendant was never at the desk because she also served as a float for whatever classroom was needing a teacher as they left for the day. This was especially problematic getting parking validated or if I needed to call. I tried calling once later in the day during business hours and no one ever answered. When I got there and told them, the front desk attendant just told me that THEY would call ME if there was a problem. In the beginning, I was also given a business card with the wrong number on it. The director ended up giving me her cell phone number which I really appreciated but she was not there all day. The daytime teachers were great but the children had different teachers in the afternoons and it seemed like there was little continuity with this. Every time I picked up my daughter, someone new was watching her. I felt like my daughter was constantly with strangers half of the day. One of them even asked if I was the nanny when I was picking up my daughter one afternoon. I liked that they used an app to provide updates but after the first month, they no longer took photos of our daughter and we had to continually ask to see pictures. One afternoon, my daughter had a black eye when I picked her up! A BLACK EYE!!!!!!! I never had any concerns for my daughters safety while at bright horizons and I'm sure it was an accident but what bothered me is that no one seemed to notice. The biggest take away I had from our experience at Bright Horizons is that I will never put any of my children into a center in which they are expected to sleep in the same classroom that other children are playing/screaming/crying. I feel horrible for making my daughter suffer through that. The school we use now has a separate, quiet area for sleeping children. I feel like I'm a pretty low-maintenance parent and the whole time we sent our daughter to Bright Horizons, I only had one request which was to allow her to attempt to feed herself and this was met with resistance. They even sent a photo of her being spoon-fed by her teacher while the teacher was holding her arms down. When I brought up my concerns about this, the front desk attendant said that she would pass them on to my daughter's teachers. I was never once offered a conference or meeting with my daughter's teachers. All information between parents and teachers had to be transmitted through the front desk attendant. To Bright Horizons credit, our daughter did develop a love of books while attending. She was able to turn pages from a very young age and is still book-obsessed. If you only need care in the mornings AND you work in POTA or surrounding buildings, then Bright Horizons would be a good choice. If you need care throughout the whole day and/or you need to drive to POTA just for childcare I would recommend against this place.

They update your will a report at the end of the day. Their COVID parameters are also CDC compliant. I give this an average rating because the location and accessibility is miserable. Unless you work directly downtown, it is an inconvenient location that easily takes an additional 30min out of your day from just dropping off and picking up. 30min doesn't sound like alot but it makes a big difference when you only have 1.5 hr after work for your child before their bedtime.

From day one, they have felt safe, cared for, and truly part of a community. The teachers are warm, attentive, and clearly invested in each child's development. Our kids have learned so much--not just academically, but also socially and emotionally--and they come home excited to share new things every day. They love their teachers and classmates, which says it all. We feel seen, valued, and respected as a same sex couple with children. We are deeply grateful for the support from teachers like Ms. Oana, Ms. Anna, Ms. Selena, Ms. Destiny, Ms. Tammy, Ms. Sym, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. Ashlee. Additionally, the administration, especially Ms. Eva, goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly and that families feel welcomed and supported. Their dedication truly shines through in the culture of the center. As parents, we have complete peace of mind knowing our children are in a nurturing, supportive place where they are thriving. We highly recommend Young Stars to any family looking for a daycare that combines safety, learning, and joy.
