He loves going to school every day, he loves his teachers, and has made many friends. Prior to starting, I was concerned with his speech and some of his social skills but after 4 short months he has grown and developed so much and I believe it is due to the environment and curriculum at Primrose. Nicole is super sweet every morning when I drop off, and my son loves her yoga class! The school itself is very clean and the classrooms very clean, colorful, and organized. The parents and families are also very kind! Lastly, we are very thankful that Primrose remains open during this national crisis, as I am a single mom and an essential worker. If it was not for Primrose being available to care for my son as I work, I'm not sure what we would do. I feel safe and have peace of mind as Primrose has made sure to take all necessary precautions to be sanitary and protect the kids and staff!! Thank you Primrose.

My…read more2-year-old has come home with more unexplained injuries in the last few weeks than in our entire two years here. These wounds are often not treated properly, and there have been multiple times where no incident report was filed -- and neither my husband nor I were informed by staff. The assistant director, Vanessa Ortiz, has extremely poor communication skills. It often takes more than a full school day to get a response to emails about serious issues like injuries. When we've tried to address concerns in person, we're met with excuses, not answers -- and certainly no sense of urgency. Also, if you have an issue and ask for the teacher's names (since we don't know their names due to so much turn over), don't expect to get them without the director reaching higher above her and then telling you to reach out to the area or regional director :) Shockingly, some teachers have even stepped in during conversations with other staff and *yelled* at us while trying to defend one another. The stories we're told rarely add up, and it feels like there's a serious lack of transparency and accountability. Supervision in the classrooms is clearly lacking, and poor communication seems to be used as a cover-up rather than a fix. There has also been an alarming amount of turnover among staff and students in just the last two months alone. That said, I want to give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Margie, Mrs. Wanda, and Ms. Jasmine. These amazing ladies are the only reason we're waiting until summer to pull our son. We truly appreciate the love and care you show our baby -- thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We originally wanted to go to another place that we heard many good things about and LOVED the facility, but were not able to get in when our daughter was born. We checked out a few other places and Kid Kountry was just down the road for us so we decided to pick this day care as it was under the cost of most of the others and very convenient. Let me tell you that we waaaayyyyyy undersold this place. It is fantastic. Ms Tiffonie and Ms Ruth are in charge of the newborns that come in and are amazing. As a first time parent who considers himself as having always been up on the baby and child raising issues, I consider myself pretty darn good. But what I thought I knew from reading Child Magazine or Parents was very different from actually knowing things like when it is time for your baby to switch from a soft nipple baby bottle to a hard nipple. Or when they should start practicing drinking out of a sippy cup and different tips and techniques for working with your child to sit up on their own and rolling over. Not only are they great with this, but they are extremely proactive. My wife and I say that we are "accidental" good parents. Our daughter has really learned a ton because of them and I wish we could say that it was because we are so amazing. My mother in law is a retired 1-4th grade teacher and is amazed that our daughter does things that her 2nd graders couldn't. Now, they are potty training her and working on the days of the week. Soooo... I guess I want to say that although the facility isn't as new and shiny as some places you see, they make up for it in love and attention to your child. The director Miss Connie is great and I want to give special recognition to Ms Tiffonie, Ms Ruth, Miss Martha and Ms Jessica. They treat my daughter like their own and are truly a part of my family. Lots of code violations, looked them up on the state of Texas website, and you will not be impressed. The food they serve is unhealthy. Its mainly sugary cereal and processed foods like pancakes and such. The care they give children is akin to babysitting at best. Every day I would walk in to pick up our infant, and I would pass a giant group of screaming, out of control children "playing" on the playground outside, and the care givers were sitting down on the bench, not paying attention, glued to their phones. Children would be huddled around them in a group, either starving for attention, or looking for protection from the rougher children pestering them. One day I picked up our child and there was a huge bounce house in the walkway, which is a violation of state regulations in itself, but the one person watching the kids was sitting down on the sidewalk where she couldn't see them, and was looking at her phone. She did this for a good 15 minutes while I was inside, and was still sitting there when I left. Most of the time our infant was left to lay in a bouncy seat, and we were concerned she was developing a flat spot on the back of her head. We asked more than once for her to be left down so she could crawl around, and only after insisting, did they do as we asked. They have a schedule for the infants, but they don't follow it. Only after we asked when the infants were being taken for a walk did they start following it. They were scheduled to be taken out twice a day. We were suspicious they were being taken only once, in the afternoon, so the parents would see it. There's a reason this facility always has room, and in our opinion, they should have their licensing pulled. The caretakers are not the problem here, but the supervisors are. The ladies who care for the infants work hard, and communicate pretty well, but in this type of daycare, the workers are only as good as their supervisors. The only saving grace for this place is that if you are late, or have a financial issue, they will work with you, allow you to pay a few days late.

I'd toured other schools where the teachers in the room my twins would be in didn't even speak or a knowledge me(red flag). They had beautiful music playing (it was nearing nap time) and it smelled so clean. It was so bright and had such great energy throughout the building. I was pleased to see weekly charts in lesson plans and active. I'm just all around excited that I FINALLY found the school/daycare for my children that I can breath a little more easy about. I tried to keep my mommy face on during the tour but I was cheesing on the inside. I'll update my review once my children have been there for awhile Update: I still Iove this school . My kids can count in Spanish (they're 2). The only issues that I've had is them switching teachers and not informing me. This is one of my first experiences using a daycare facility because we often use family. I had to use this daycare facility out of necessity for my child. My child is pre-k age and is/was potty training and the facility did not properly assist my child in keeping themselves clean or on track with potty training. My child came home with poop streaks, and poor bathroom hygiene from not wiping properly almost daily. My child came home with no pants, no shoes (they lost them and could not find them until the next day), covered in pen ink and marker, a Missing backpack (they lost it and could not find it until the next day) on several occasions. It became increasingly apparent that the facility was not able to take care of children correctly. My child never came home with any notes or work that they had done, so I am only left to assume that no activities or curriculum was used at the facility for the pre-K age students. There was little to no communication with me regarding what was going on at the facility and when I was called it was only to tell me that there was an issue. My child was in this facility for only a few months and WE ARE NOT GOING BACK. The last straw for me was when my child was INJURED by a daycare worker causing the need for an EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT. To be clear this INJURY was caused by the caregiver based on the information I received from the doctor. This may not be everyone's experience, but it was mine and if I was a parent seeking a new daycare I would want to know what is going on at the facility. Please know that I do not normally write reviews of this nature, but felt like others needed to know our experience at this facility in order for them to make the best decisions for their own children and families. Please stay safe and my recommendation is to seek daycare anywhere, but at this facility. I hope the facility improves and works on training for the caregivers in the facility, but they have a long way to go as far as I am concerned.

We did not think that we would have needed childcare... but I must say the search has been so stressful annd overwhelming ...until Celebree and Mrs Mindi. I have researched, called and read reviews of all the prestigious child care facilities locally. It's crazy because I just started a new job ... working Monday thru Friday getting off at 5:30pm.. so that makes interviewing any childcare facility during the week IMPOSSIBLE. And wait... mostly all the facilities are closed on the weekends. My daughter is going to school during the week and doing her exterm... so .. she could not visit as well. I spoke to many facilities that just could not accommodate a visit after hours... nor a scheduled visit or interview on a Saturday morning. I found a few that would allow me to send someone else to view on my behalf during the week... or just simply direct led me to their website. Well, I was blessed with a call back from Mindi at Celebree letting me know that she was willing to open up the Daycare just for myself, my daughter and my grandbaby to visit Saturday at 9am. The facility is closed on that day... however the accommodation was stellar. Not only did she give us a personal tour... but she allowed my baby to get down and experience the facility briefly. We were not rushed at all... she went over everything. Mindi didn't know how much this meant to me. She sacrificed a portion of her time.... Just for us. No directing me to a website to pictures. She interacted with my granddaughter.... and she was just happy and full of smiles. This made me feel confident about making a decision of choosing Celebree. The fact that she made us a priority... when so many other childcare facilities were willing to just let us walk away. My granddaughter was just another child to them... but Mindi made us feel like family! And that's important... as parents we must feel secure in knowing that we are leaving our babies in safe hands... and with people that truly care. We start next week, and I couldn't have made a better choice. I stopped by today... just to confirm and do paperwork and I was greeted by Evette and Celeste. Both friendly and welcoming. This was a great experience... as it should be anytime one is making a decision about care for a child. I am so thankful for Mindi calling me back... because if not... I would have been stuck with basic choices... instead of getting the best in service! I appreciate all of their time, patience, and concern! Thank you!

We have had both or our daughters at Primrose of Prestonwood for years now. The oldest has moved on…read moreto the RISD school system but still comes back during breaks. Our youngest is 3 and has been there since she was old enough to enter daycare. The staff has always been exceptional. I have volunteered when they take the kids to the North Texas Food Bank each year so I've seen how they deal with the kids in and out of the facility. I would not hesitate to leave my child in their care, especially when you realize what some of the other options are out there. This is by far the best run, cleanest and friendly daycare we have used. We lived near downtown before moving north and had a good experience with our previous daycare but Primrose is so much more advanced in their curriculum and have many more activities than our older daughter ever experienced at her previous daycare.
