Contractor Zach Delagarza did not complete the job he was paid for. He stopped communicating with me and those working on my behalf. The job was a full remodel of a Kitchen (pictured here but not completed) and 2 bathrooms, replacement of all flooring and windows as well as an update of the paint, switches, outlets and removal of popcorn ceilings. Sadly each and every job was left incomplete and I am left with finding new contractors to complete the work he has been paid for. I have concluded he used my money to keep his company afloat during the COVID shut down. And rather than communicate with me or place the job on hold due to COVID impacts he continued to do little things half way and continued asking for money. When asked when he would cut in the ceilings or install trim in various rooms he assured me that was all punch list work that would be done all at one time. eg.. all cut in at once, all outlets at once, all doors at once.
There was no client portal, or access to a schedule. I was told it was an 8 week job (started March 8th) and by mid August when I pressured him to get the job done he quit communicating. One of his employees continued to come and try to finish the job for about 4 weeks. I later found out he was doing this on his own time and with his own money. Mr. Delagarza is a smooth talker and a salesman. I am sad to say he can not be trusted to do anything he says he will do.
In addition I contacted the BBB and he ignored their request for information. They were unable to find a business by this name registered at the address he listed on the contract or at any address for that matter.
