He came out and looked at our hot water heater door but didn't open it because the hinges were broke and we were having a hard time getting it shut again--although I told him he was welcome to open it to see what he needed. The estimate was $370-$400. The original work ended up being $504 plus supplies. When they reframed the door, the drywall around the door cracked and they were unable to use the original trim. Another $463 for them to fix the issues that arose from their original work. Then a few weeks later, the door started popping open. I have attached pictures of the text messages. Terrible overall experience. His lack of professionalism is only exceeded by his inability to deliver on his commitments. This project was behind schedule and over budget. Kris gets defensive and argumentative when you ask about his progress and makes it an overall uncomfortable experience. He starts his day late and is very inconsistent with his work schedule. This may have contributed to the delay in finishing this project in the time frame he quoted (three times longer than he quoted). The home was without a working restroom for almost a month, but this fact certainly didn't seem to light a fire under him. If you are looking for a quality person for your project, I'd keep looking. read more

I contacted Dealgrace (apparently a person pays Dealgrace to find jobs for them) for a TV mount and they contacted Fair Enough Services (Chris Harris) . I was quoted a price of $150 and didn't realise at the time that I would need an outlet added to have the TV mounted (At that time I asked him if he was a certified electrician )so the price change to $368 which i was willing to pay. After the the installation there was some cleanup (holes in the wall) and he advised he didn't want to leave the it the way and said he would like to fix it but I had to go to an appointment and I responded "she can wait". He said ok and went back to the room for which I assumed was to fill the holes and clean up. After he was done I thanked him and tipped him $20 because he installed a stand I had bought to hold the cable box and I jetted off to my appointment. Upon my return I checked the area and to my surprise the holes from the Installation were not filled in and there was a mess left behind. I contacted Chris a few times to see when he would come out to fix the holes, he came out a few days later. After he fixed the holes the outlet no longer work and I immediately contacted him. After reaching out to him a few times he finally called me back. I was concerned so at this point I asked him for his Trade License Number which he should have if he is a licensed electrician (I also contacted Dealgrace when problem arose and they also told me he was a licensed). He started trying to explain to me what might have happened and he would come back out but would have charge me to come "fix" the socket and that it was an wire issue within the house. (I don't know any professional company that would install something and a week later it does not work and will charge the customer to come back out and assess the problem to see if the issue with something with them) I told him before we even discussed that I wanted his license number and he finally advised me that he is an apprentice (from my understanding apprentice should be with a license professional) and therefore did not have a license. After going back and forth, him yelling at me, he hung up the phone in my face! At this point I called out a certified electrician in the issue was he did not fully connect the wiring and it was, "poor connection ". I can only assess when he went in to fix the holes left behind because it was a poor connection to begin with and it did not take much to jar that connection loose. Chris was very unprofessional and did poor work, please do you research which is what I wish I had done . The card company is reversing the charges and chris will receive payment for the difference it cost me to fix his mess! (I almost paid in cash for the initial service, so glad I did not)! Also, Dealgrace tried to "wash their hands" of this by giving me his contact information which I advised that I already had it and I was keeping them in the loop because they're the ones who suggested Fair Enough the service and also advised he was licensed. read more
