We recently purchased a wonderful home in the Woodlands with one major problem: the interior paint…read morewas very colorful and dark. We called a few local outfits for estimates and while Abraham wasn't the lowest bid, he impressed us with his motivation, presentation and knowledge. We also noticed how well received he was in the online reviews. As we had just purchased a home, we needed the paint dry before moving in furniture. Abraham was able to start the job for us within three days of the estimate. While he did not work on the job directly, his crew made it clear this would not be a problem. They were punctual, hard-working, and considerate of our home. They taped off and tarped over all of our exposed floors and other areas with care. The paint was applied exclusively by roller and brush, even in our large vaulted foyer and upper window frames. The en-suite bathroom wallpaper was expertly removed, the entire room spackled, primed and painted to match. All of our blinds and other pre-installed wall fixtures were removed, and then replaced once the painting was finished. The few things we pointed out were addressed and handled without question. We were on the lookout for shortcuts, splatter, missed areas, sloppy work that we were warned of in other company reviews. Instead what we found was a bunch of guys who treated our home like they were going to live there. We felt taken care of, advocated for. I cannot extend a more enthusiastic recommendation for Abraham and Magnificent Painters. Thank you so much! The Moore's - Jared, Debbie, Matthew, Lizzie P.S. Pictures include before and after. We only painted walls, no trim, no doors or no ceilings. Color used was Sherman Williams "Drift of Mist" SW#9166

The actual poor wasn't that bad except for the buried some of the old concrete from the driveway/walkway on the right side of the front of the house. I had to dig that up and get rid of it myself. As you can see by the below, they really sprayed the concrete as high as 6 feet the screen on the patio window, I did if they were going to clean that up and they said that they couldn't because the concrete was wet that I had to wait until it was dry. as you can see in the pictures below, they couldn't take the wood framing off the concrete because some of the workers nailed it to the concrete he explained and that some of his workers were and that he couldn't get them to use the wooden spikes only instead of the nails. I have tried to in contact with R & C construction several times through voicemail and text and through Angie and they have not returned my messages. Overall, I would give them three stars only, decide for yourself.

We had a leak from our toilet which we didn't notice until... well too late, as we found that our…read morecabinet had rotten, the flooring ruined, and some of the wall had to be cut out. This happened at the beginning of Covid, and we had postponed fixing this, for when the number of cases were more manageable. After 6 months, we didn't want to wait anymore. Dan Shannon gave us a free estimate for the work (plus changing the flooring in the other bathroom to match as well) and had that scheduled soon after. They called 2 days before we were scheduled to start, asking if they can start a day earlier as someone else cancelled, and we agreed (we aren't going anywhere in this pandemic so why not?). Dan and his crew came by right on the scheduled time. Everyone had their masks on (hurray!). They put on heavy paper across the house so they don't scratch our floors as they worked. They were very respectful to us, our home, and our property as they worked, which we're so grateful as we were around the whole time. We're also very satisfied with their craftsmanship, and would use them again for any future remodeling work. Highly recommended.

I'm very pleased with my bathroom remodel by S-N-S Remodeling, Dan Shannon, and his highly capable…read morecrew. I needed a lot of advice on how to maximize the use of this very small space and Dan really hit the ball out of the park on this project. Besides age, space, and lighting, a big issue we had was that the shower was recessed about 6 inches into the foundation and also had a dropped ceiling. We did not know what, if anything, was inside the drop. Dan found that the dropped ceiling was just empty, unused space and added that back into the shower compartment. He also added a much needed in-shower light. He brought the floor of the shower up to be appropriately level to the floor which was something we really wanted as stepping into and out of that dark, wet 6-inch recess was sometimes treacherous. Dan's excellent planning provided us with about 3 or 4 more inches of much needed counter top space without making the room feel crowded. The very well-made custom cabinetry exceeded my expectations. Dan's use of recessed lighting, a low profile toilet, a custom-made cabinet above the toilet, and the larger tiles with fewer grout lines all contribute to maximizing the use and the feel of the very limited space in this room. The tile work is just beautiful. Every tile was cut and every edge was hand-beveled on-site as needed for a perfect fit and finish. The paint was sprayed so is very smooth and even. And, of course, Dan and his crew repaired and replaced anything they found that was water-damaged behind the walls in this 60 year old bathroom. They cleaned up behind themselves daily. I really could not be happier with this remodel. Thank you, everyone! This was a job well done at a very fair price. Now, let's talk about that 60 year old kitchen......

You have to look really hard, and know it's there, to tell where the wallboard was replaced. They even closely matched the ceiling pattern!
