TERRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS. First I would like to point out that as soon as I walked in I had to use the restroom immediately, my wife and I had just endured a long road trip and were passing through- this bar was near our hotel, and as soon as I walked in i tried rushing to the mens restroom and asked the young guy checking ID's to point me in the direction of the restroom but instead he insisted on shouting in my face for ID's, we presented them and then promptly asked for direction of the restroom again and he then turned away leaving my question unanswered and began playing a game of pool. My wife and I looked at each other puzzled and then tried to find the restrooms ourselves, eventually I saw a "Men's" sign on the wall. Second, we decided we would like to play a game of pool so we found an empty table that had been opened and began to rack the table while my wife was scanning over the menu. As we were about to order a waitress comes and locks up the table and says that open table was for "special customers" only. Half the tables were open but I proceeded to the quarter machine anyway, it didn't bother me to pay, but I did feel very unwelcome from not being a "special customer". As I was getting quarters my wife tried to flag down this blonde waitress after a couple of failed attempts and us still sitting thirsty, she finally came to our table. We asked specials and she said there were none, plainly. As we tried to order she seemed in a daze, per se. She was speaking back to us but her words seemed scrambled and she seemed as if she had been under the influence of some sort, she did seem slightly intoxicated as well. When she came back with our order, she had mistaken my beer of choice she was supposed to return with the correct beer but approximately 10 minuets went by with no sign of her and as I was getting up to head to the bar for assistance a different waitress whom had dark hair and facial piercings approached me and asked if she could be of service to me. I explained and she nicely told me not to worry that she would handle it. Not even a minuet goes by and she returns with my correct beer and was very sympathetic of the situation at hand. We ordered a couple of more drinks through her and finished up our game of pool when she came back and told us she could no longer serve my wife and I due to the pool area not being her section. As soon as we heard that we had enough of Texas Billiards. It was a truly awful experience from the beginning and I wouldn't recommend this bar to anyone. read more
