Full Recommendation. Had an excellent experience at Texas Audio, and working with Junior over the course of 2 days. You want to work with him and his team because they take pride in the audio they sell - I did my own research, and Junior helped guide my understanding to the exact setup I would be "happy" with, which he thoroughly stated is his primary goal. Bringing in a 7th Gen Lexus ES350, he sat with me in the car and walked me through the available options and the pre-install and post-install tuning support. With how finicky some of the setup is required in some of the newer cars, DIY wasn't worth it for me. Highly recommended if your install done CORRECTLY, without worrying about being oversold or underperformed. They know their Audio AND how to install it. I'm going back to make sure I get a dash cam + upgraded amp system. First time customer of Texas Audio and I understand now why they have such a high rating. I had an issue where my pioneer head unit completely stopped working for no reason. Called these guys on a Monday morning and within two hours, my car was in the service bay getting a diagnostic. After thoroughly completing a review of my vehicle, Texas audio noted that my radio simply needed to be reset. Not only did they put everything back together, (as I had taken it apart) they even did a repair on my radio bezel as it had snapped - being that it's a 20-year-old vehicle. I am late with this review, but the time has given me the chance to play with my new toy. I love CarPlay added to my 2008 vehicle. Although I already had proprietary systems for Bluetooth and navigation in my vehicle, they had issues. The Bluetooth would not always recognize who I wanted to call, which forced me to repeatedly say the person's name until it got it right. And the maps for the nav system were on a CDROM loaded in a player in the trunk. In other words, they were not a 'live' map with current traffic loads. CarPlay has been a game changer and lifestyle enhancer. I now have access to traffic issues and calling people is much easier. The gentleman that answered my questions and supported the installation was both courteous and knowledgeable. I had been to several stores while researching to make my final decision and Texas Audio got my business and did a fantastic installation. I am not planning any other upgrades in the near future. But, if I was, I would go straight to Texas Audio. I highly recommend them. read more

My husband and I went into get a backup camera put on as a Christmas present. First thing we noticed was how clean the showroom was and how organized. We met Jr who is very knowledgeable and personable, he showed us all the options available. We first started off with a rear view mirror monitor, but with my car being tinted it wasn't the option that was going to be the best for me. He replaced it with a rear view mirror monitor on the windshield that really helped me to see much better. Junior went out of his way to make me happy. Overall it was a stellar experience that we highly recommend. We originally used Texas Audio to replace the factory system in my wife's Toyota Highlander with an Pioneer system that I had removed from my Mustang (since ithe Toyota systems screen was broken and I was going to be selling the Mustang.) They did a fantastic job including free follow up visits for minor issues. I then had them put a bare bones system in the Mustang for easier sale. I bought a new Navos system from American Muscle and they arranged and my install. Originally it was set up with another shop, I arrived at 8:45 for my 9:00 appointment and they didn't even know I was coming, and the one guy in their shop that installs electronics was not going to be in until around 3:00. Yes, they do some beautiful lift kits and body kits, but I wasn't comfortable with their ability to handle the complex installation of this unit. I called AM and told them what had happened, and they set me up with Texas Audio. They took me that day, actually told me to "drive right over and my car would not wait because I had been through enough today" and did the install while I waited. With multiple installers that ONLY focus on stereos and complex dash modifications they have the experience and knowledge that I will continue to trust my Mustang with. read more

I am very pleased with the installation of my new car stereo from Texas Audio. Junior is very knowledgeable and took time to explain the different stereos and speaker options that would fit my Nissan Rogue. I ended up purchasing a Jensen CAR70V with four new speakers and backup camera. ( Looks like it was factory installed) The sound is incredible and I love listening to my Spotify playlist and podcast. I honestly don't even know where to begin. I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars. Last week I decided I wanted a stereo system in my new vehicle. I spent the better part of that week driving all over Dallas, from one car place to the next. For the most part, everyone had their speech about how everyone else's product was crap. I came home pretty discouraged. Friday after work I headed into Garland and Into what I will now call my Friends Shop. See, I didn't know Junior when I walked in the door, but when I left his place, I knew without a doubt where I was going to get my System Installed. Junior took the time to answer all of my questions and then asked some of his own to make sure I received the system I wanted, and one I would be happy with for years to come. He showed me the best of what I could afford in my price range, and I called him the next day to arrange a Monday install. Monday came and I had 2nd guesses on what I was going to install. I knew there was a little wiggle room in my budget, and so with Junior's expert guidance, I was able to have my Dream System Built by changing out the components and getting a beefier amp. The install was immaculate! Never seen wires so perfectly installed, tied down, and wrapped. I wish I would have found this place day 1 of my searching. All of the reviews for #TexasAudio have been about how great Juniors customer service is, and I have to wholeheartedly agree. I can PROMISE anyone that goes here that you will leave Thrilled. I really think this is a fantastic place to come in and get what you need at a great price for the item and the installation. I normally go to Bonnie and Clyde's but heard about this location through yelp and other sites and just wanted to check it out and see what they had to offer. I understand the owners from both stores are cousins. I personally came here to get an amp (Alpine) and two additional rear speakers (JL Audio) to replace the factory speakers, which after 11 years... just wasn't doing it for me. Let me just say that Jr will help you out with the right selection that fits your needs... and not just the most expensive high end product only because he wants to make a buck off of you... He gave me three options with three price ranges... allowed me to listen to all three and make my mind up... In addition, he even went as far to go online on amazon to compare and match prices for you should you feel uncomfortable... and he will work with you to educate why one system will work and another may not as the amp I wanted would not fit under my seat the way I thought it would. He even took the time to take that amp and place under my truck seat to let me see and explain the reasoning. I like that a lot. After the installation was done, I was able to check on it and see the workmanship performed by his staff. He used good quality 4 gauge wiring instead of an 8 gauge, which was important to me because it lets me know if he cares about the customer or his bottom line.
