I wonder if that's why they don't last maybe customer service is not a quality you need in order to work in a busy Dr's office. I have gone with my family member who is disabled and I always see a different assistant. I work as a patient acct specialist with my Dr's and I love it I would hate working in this type of environment. Good thing my family member has changed provider we will no longer be returning. I had an actual appointment with this doctor and he was horrible. I gave him a bad review and some…read morehow it was removed saying I hadn't listed enough details about my experience with him. I had an appointment with Mell, he runs very late for your scheduled appointment, tell them to give you five minutes warning and then you'll disrobe or you'll be sitting in your underwear in a paper robe for a LONG TIME. When Mell finally comes into the room he'll size you up and make a diagnosis based off of your physical appearance and challenge any previous diagnoses you've had. If you have systemic lupus I'd say he's not a doctor I'd choose. My previous rheumatologist called him in advance, brought him up to speed with my current situation; yet Mell disregarded all of what Dr Nguyen told him and said "you don't have lupus". At that point I stopped the appointment told him I'd not be using him as my doctor and asked him to leave so I could dress. He didn't leave and continued to say I didn't have lupus and he wouldn't believe it unless I brought him proof as he watch me get dressed. TRUE STORY Sad part is he has a very pleasant and efficient staff. If I could have given him zero star I'd have done it. This post is necessary as others need to know to stay away. That whole visit with Mell caused me to go into a lupus flare with inflammation to my joints causing severe pain. Again stay away from this man. He is not a doctor I'd recommend to anyone EVER!!
