When you approach the ladies down stairs opposite side on the reception depending on the mood they just shrug and say they don't know. If they are willing they call someone to help and take you around to the other side of the building where another elevator is. It would help everyone if this elevator could be fixed.

Generally you do not have to wait long after arriving for your appointment and the staff are courteous. They have an in-house lab at both the west side and the east side locations which is very convenient. I have been going to the Eastside office monthly for infusion therapy and Nurse Melissa, who administers the infusion therapy is very kind, friendly, compassionate and helpful with questions as well as in scheduling future appointments. She makes the visits pleasant and is attentive to the patients' needs; I really appreciate her caring spirit, since some people may feel stressed in getting stuck with needles or getting infusion therapy. I am thankful for Dr. Chabra and his staff, the care I receive and the convenient locations on both west and east sides of El Paso. I highly recommend you give them a try if you are in need of a Rheumatologist.

Dr. M claims she never saw the actual lab orders to substantiate the biopsuly, which i believed, since it had been a while but i came home to find a packet of what i had given her in October 2017 and the lab results were included. They don't provide FMLA ppwk and I was given someone else's personal information, HIPAA breach. I'm disgusted, in pain and need a new gastro.

I had an appointment with Mell, he runs very late for your scheduled appointment, tell them to give you five minutes warning and then you'll disrobe or you'll be sitting in your underwear in a paper robe for a LONG TIME. When Mell finally comes into the room he'll size you up and make a diagnosis based off of your physical appearance and challenge any previous diagnoses you've had. If you have systemic lupus I'd say he's not a doctor I'd choose. My previous rheumatologist called him in advance, brought him up to speed with my current situation; yet Mell disregarded all of what Dr Nguyen told him and said "you don't have lupus". At that point I stopped the appointment told him I'd not be using him as my doctor and asked him to leave so I could dress. He didn't leave and continued to say I didn't have lupus and he wouldn't believe it unless I brought him proof as he watch me get dressed. TRUE STORY Sad part is he has a very pleasant and efficient staff. If I could have given him zero star I'd have done it. This post is necessary as others need to know to stay away. That whole visit with Mell caused me to go into a lupus flare with inflammation to my joints causing severe pain. Again stay away from this man. He is not a doctor I'd recommend to anyone EVER!!
