Immediate care and reassurance for a frazzled traveler was given over the phone by the night manager and the day manager went out of her way on her own time to stop by the local FedEx place to overnight my purse back to me. There are human guardian angels in Mt. Shasta, and Jessica, Daisia, and Matthew are three of them! (Not to mention the dear lady who found it who was also on her way home after a equally horrible drive home from Las Vegas!) Counting Blessings!!

As someone who travels full time, I have never encountered such a firm refusal. Seriously? It's AIR. While I realize the equipment costs money to maintain, we were happy to spend money in the shop. We had just fueled up the night before and did not need fuel, but just needed air in a tire. Terrible customer service.

No call back to confirm its delivery. End of story. Attitude is everything. We won't be calling them again.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!…read more Talk about service!!! These guys are amazing. The skid plate came lose and with every bump we hit, so did the skid plate. Had to pull off, get a hotel room and after 5 calls to mechanics, chanced it that these guys would help. Boy did they! No fuss, happy to help, gave the kids toys and had us back on the road in 10 minutes. They didn't hesitate to help me out and wouldn't charge me!! I really appreciate their help and excellent service. All other mechanics in town, take a lesson from these guys.

Although Chad was pretty swamped, he managed to fit my friend's car in in about an hour and not only filled the oil and alerted her to a big leak(and gave us pointers on how to keep on top of it for the drive home to San Francisco), but also vacuumed the floor of the front seat of the car. The other place in town we called took my number and didn't call back til the next day. No big, folks are busy, but I'm not sure what we would have done if we hadn't found The Pit Stop. Thanks Chad!

Our car was making a loud sound, obviously, due to the problem. When my husband got out of the car, my husband tried to make a joke and said, "was that a little bit loud? Did it wake you up?" David said, "You might want to get that looked at." Then he told us that what we needed was "on aisle 8 in the store." There is no aisle 8. He was rude, unhelpful, and a real jerk when someone is coming up dealing with car problems. He should really stop and think about how he's treating people in his line of work. Yuck.

Looking for metric sizes in a "Made in the USA" city isn't easy but the salesman rifled though all the stock to find me a metric allen wrench set. He apologized for not having singles, but who the hell would stock only a 8mm allen wrench? I still have my boards today because the guy that helped me was sure they had a metric set and took the time to find the one (dust and all) in the store. Great to find such wonderful help when I was in such a pinch.

And CVS will deliver in area (a town of 3,500 on I-5, plus three other towns of 2,000 - 2,500 within 12 mi..
