Clean bathrooms at this Pilot, cleaner than most other locations. Had a good variety of snacks, including a Cinnabon. Store is kinda odd to get in and out of, only reason I can't give it a full five-stars. Otherwise, this is a decent location, better than using the Weed rest area up I-5. I stopped for fuel on my motorcycle. I paid at the pump with a debit card and took off. At my next fuel up I tried to use mu debit card again and it was declined for insufficient funds. I went online to find out a $50 charge was put on my account and 24 hours later it still is. It was $20 to fill up my bike. I put money on that card specifically to pay for fuel. Went to get my propane tanks filled and the employe wouldn't fill the tanks because they weren't certified even though I had one re certified and I showed him and the other tank hasn't expired yet cause it hasn't been 12 years since it's manufactured date. I understand he was doing his job with the knowledge he knew but still like wtf man I'm telling you it's say right here has to be re certified after 12 years of manufactured date. read more

This is a regular stop for us when we are on the road. The pumps are always in working order. The bathrooms are always super clean. The inside and outside of the store are clean. They have a subway that is open 24 hrs. There is a lounge area for truckers (I don't know if truckers use it but it seems like something I would appreciate if I was a trucker) they have a Cinnabon (was closed this time ). This place is a 24 hour truck stop. The staff, closes the hot case and dumps out the soup, chili, and hot dogs at 6:30 pm. Cinnabon closes too. I'm standing in line for approximately 5 minutes. The manager shuts his register down. Then the line I'm in, the clerk shuts her register down. The level of customer service at this place is zero! I'm standing right there! Don't you see me? Unbelievable! This would not stand in any other retail setting! You think you can abuse truck drivers on a continual basis because your truck stop is a monopoly and we have no where else to go, let me tell you something, Pilot/ Flying is the worst truck stop out of the big three. They treat customers like lower life forms. I have no desire and would not use Pilot if it were up to me. DO YOUR JOB! if there's someone in your line, don't shut your register down until that person is taken care of. Then don't give me "attitude" . You were giving me attitude the whole time while I was standing there. You asked for my pilot card on the items I bought. I asked for you to ring those items up separately. Then when I bought the coffee you didn't ask me for my pilot card. You did this so I would intentionally miss the discount on the coffee because your a complete lousy clerk. A great stop along I-5, especially if you're traveling with a trailer in tow. They have parking spaces specifically for trailers separate from the big rig parking spots and gas pumps without an awning, easy to access for trailer travelers. It was really convenient to grab some snacks, coffee, and breakfast burritos, along with gas before hitting the road. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Rose, who chatted with me as she checked the coffee machines. I wished I'd noticed the decals on the counters near the various coffee machines before making my coffee. They gave mixing suggestions so you could "Be your own barista!" The bathrooms were very clean and I appreciated the clear labels that told you if a stall was vacant or occupied. My only complaint were the prices on most items was considerably more. read more

After miles of pulling a fifth wheel trailer on windy mountain roads, this travel center is an oasis of precious fuels-both for you and your rig. They tended to have the cheapest of gas and diesel prices compared to the other stations in the area and surrounding towns, but the lower diesel price is cash only; credit price is about the same as everywhere else. This station also fills propane tanks, which was very appreciated after we ran out of it and couldn't use the furnace in our RV. In case you weren't aware, it gets pretty cold up here! There is a special entrance for RVs and big trucks to get diesel, although these pumps are often filled with small cars who don't get the point of having an isolated station for larger vehicles. This location also has fresh pizza along with the many other expected gas station treats as well as an attached Subway restaurant and laundromat. I want to commend this Pilot location for their helpful staff. I was there on a below freezing night in December needing to fill the DEF tank in my diesel Sprinter motorhome. I was exhausted from a long drive and Tawnya not only helped me find the heavy DEF container in the store, but put on her coat and put some in the tank for me. I could not have lifted the container high enough to do so myself. Then she suggested that I park in the overflow area to sleep until it would be safer to continue my trip in the morning. Overnight, I found in my owners manual that I would need additional DEF to completely fill the tank. I bought another container and Riley filled the remainder of my tank for me. Clearly the management of this Pilot Center is focused on customer service and beyond. I will plan on using this location as a fuel stop on future trips on I-5. read more

Tight parking for rigs the plus is that there is a section that is specifically for rv's and fifth wheels. Store is clean restrooms are also clean and stocked. Shower was clean. There is a grocery store across the way. While I was not able to venture to it, I am told that it is a good place to restock the rig. Makes eating healthy a bit cheaper as well as easier. The staff we helpful. There is a UPS, FEDEX TRIP PASS,would be nice to see a regular outgoing mail slot (blue united States mail box) . I know it an outdated concept but I mail my grandson and daughter in law post cards as often as possible. read more
