The restroom had a changing table,a framed duck print and lavender painted walls. The floors were waxed to such a shine as to be reflective! The main store had a pumpkin carving contest in the store in honor of Halloween. All in all a very lovely small town, gas station experience! Weed, Ca is not a big city, most that visit are passing by. Dania the cashier was interested in why I was taking pictures, I had to explain that I love reviewing businesses. She went on to explain that a lot of homeless were trashing up the restroom. The restroom says you have to buy something, I purchased a lollipop for 50cents I am sure a homeless person can afford that. That's not a good enough excuse... your business just force people to buy stuff.

It was a medium sized supermarket with a deli counter. Since it was lunch time I decided to try out a deli sandwich. There were about a dozen predefined sandwiches but none got my attention. So I ordered a simpler roast beef with tomatoes, cucumber and spinach with mayonnaise on a garlic-parmesan roll. It was done pretty quick and costs $9.99. Honestly it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Service was excellent as there were about three persons working the deli counter. Parking is also very easy as there were many spots available. The inside of the building was a little older looking compared to the newer supermarkets near where i live. I will remember this place the next time I stop there for a charge.

CVS here now has 7-9 persons working in cramped space. That's more than the entire store (not just pharmacy) that went bankrupt. And CVS will deliver in area (a town of 3,500 on I-5, plus three other towns of 2,000 - 2,500 within 12 mi.. Immediate care and reassurance for a frazzled traveler was given over the phone by the night manager and the day manager went out of her way on her own time to stop by the local FedEx place to overnight my purse back to me. There are human guardian angels in Mt. Shasta, and Jessica, Daisia, and Matthew are three of them!
