Turkey sandwich with pepper jack cheese on everything bagel

This is my absolute favorite spot!! My friends and I go weekly on Friday or Saturday mornings. The staff is amazing. The bagels are divine. And the location is so quaint and cozy. I love that we can eat outside and play games while we wait. The best things on the menu are the hashed and garden bagel!! We've tried almost everything and those are always good without a doubt!

Fun and cute idea. The bagels are just okay and kind of dry. Worth eating at, but don't out of your way for them.

Drive the extra 2.5 miles off the 20, you will be glad you did. Spacious lawn, plenty of seating, no trailer turn around- just park on the side of the road. Stopped here on our multi state trip and was pleasantly surprised with warm, fresh bagels with quality breakfast sandwich ingredients. Service was quick and price was awesome. Wish I lived here, I would be a regular!

This place is a gem and I can't wait to go back! The food truck itself is modern and clean and it has cute a outdoor space to sit and enjoy your meal. All the country farm vibes here!!! We ordered some breakfast sandwiches and OJ and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

This place was awesome! The address on Yelp is wrong. They have moved. Ask the locals where he moved to. My in laws took us. I got the Teton bagel sandwich. I had an Asiago bagel. Everything about that sandwich was delicious and the price is really good. The bagel was absolutely amazing and put it with everything in the middle and my whole family loved what they had.

Delicious breckfast sandwiches on delicious bagles! It's really hard to find quality fresh made bagles in the west.

Bagels are made fresh daily and are pillowy soft but still have some good chew to them like a any proper bagel.

Two stars due to owner "polite" snapback on negative experiences…read more No drip coffee, pleasant but rushed & distracted service, sub par adequate food, and obscure treats that require an acquired taste. It's a baked goods and breakfast sandwich shop--That serves weak espresso and no drip coffee! If open for breakfast, I mean cmon--drip coffee is a must--add a shot of espresso for a good ole red eye! The bakery/pastry items are not my favorite for breakfast. We ordered croissant sandwiches, which were ok, but everybody described the eggs as tasting like nothing. Literally no egg flavor, as if unseasoned pasteurized egg whites. The service was pleasant, but felt rushed despite not being busy. Seems the work flow is scattered. They definitely weren't the worst I've been to. They make unique baked goods, which I would have tried at some point, but I won't choose to go there again, unless everybody else wants to. I feel the noise was moderate because the kitchen was loud, and there was an echo--didn't feel very private. A couple varieties of brewed coffee would be a good start to soften a disappointed breakfast review. NOTE TO OWNER: Trying to explain away my unpleasant experience, by stating that it was because you serve a more "curated offering," which is different than the diner type offering I was likely expecting (which you stated for my first review). First, your ego protecting posture doesn't know what I was expecting. Also a person who found mold in their gluten-free pastry item. If your item had been fresh when it was bought, it would have taken all day for mold to even start. This thing wasn't stored correctly before purchase. It covered in mold. You again try to explain this away by saying they likely didn't refrigerate it after buying it. Even though she stated that she bit into it the same day as purchased. Also, you tell another person that the reason why the display case wasn't full as the optimized pictures showed is because perhaps she came later in the day, and if she came earlier your display case is always full with 20+ items. I know for a fact, as she came with me, she was there by 8:30 in the morning. These are you striking out at customers, for sharing negative experiences. You're also trying to shift focus from their negative experience to push what is your business model, but obviously isn't being practiced. Stop using "business speak" to shift focus from their negative experiences to advertise what should be. My honest opinion is you serve breakfast, a common staple of breakfast is drip coffee. Another common staple of breakfast, are cracked tasty egg and meat breakfast sandwiches Nowhere in your business description or in search were we told; breakfast sandwiches here are not flavorful because they create a specific type of sandwich that requires a "more curated taste" (which is what you said to me in my first review). Give me a break! Look at my profile. You will see the types of establishments I have enjoyed, which are equal to your own in food types. You should start using customer feedback to actually learn from your customers, instead of trying to explain them away, as if it is somehow to be expected at your restaurant. If these experiences are to be expected, and you're highlighting that--failure. Start acknowledging that a mistake was made, don't imply they didn't handle the product properly after purchase. Fact is it is common knowledge to refrigerate--if it is going to be left out for hours on end. So by you stating this was likely the case, with only the same day as reference, you are basically calling the person a liar. You really need to get a grip on how you handle these feedbacks. Don't shift the blame to customer misunderstanding. Which you intentionally do to excuse unfresh items, mold found in items, unpleasant experiences. Learn, stop excusing.

When we first arrived to the outside--well, the name Rusty Lantern…read moreseemed appropriate--half expected to hear a gate creaking and slamming in the wind, and see a hitching rail for your horse. That made us a little nervous, but also so excited . Once inside that nervousness is quickly replaced by friendly people. You can immediately feel that it's a real local favorite. Everybody's eyes are on you when you enter, but that is definitely not to make you uncomfortable. They are smiling and welcoming. You're offered boisterous warm greetings, with that welcome home feel. With stools at the counter, some very big tables and chairs sitting off to the left for big parties to sit at, and booths for the typical size party, the seating was perfectly spaced and comfortable. It truly allowed for tables of regulars to intermingle. It was definitely rustic, folksy and the people were all friendly regulars like they were co-owners. The artwork on the wall was just so--cow hand and ranch family murals. I truly expected John Wayne any moment to come drawling in and tell me, "I think you need to sit down, partner." We chose a booth, sat down, and were greeted quickly by the most humble and sweet young lady who was our--No, THE server approaching us very quickly to take our drink order, and explain the small menu to us. Yes the menu was very basic. A rainbow of colorful chalk writing garnished in an invented style, a board displayed behind the counter, which consists of an evolving menu of fresh made dessert type foods that weren't on the menu --the menu lived. The small basic menu was one page--That was it. Having mostly the basics to choose from, I chose a nice sausage patty, and three scrambled eggs with cheese and onions. We were half expecting half effort food--boy were we wrong. I also couldn't help myself I had to order one of these fresh made goods displayed on that board. Knowing that it was a side to my already ordered dish, I asked my server. "How big is a slice of banana cream pie, is it a good side." Lol..." Yeah it's not that big" well I should have known by the Texas feel of the local little diner. When the cream pie came out I could have eaten it for both breakfast and lunch and been plenty full lol. It occupied my every thought, with fresh bananas and cream, a smothering of whipped cream over the top, and a perfect semi-sweet crumbly crust, I devoured it quickly! The fresh cracked eggs, not overly greasy from frying up on an overworked grill, and the flavorful sausage combined with what seemed to be hand grated potato hash browns, mixed with onions cheese and spices. This was a classic downhome cooked meal. It was easy to tell why the place was filling up with customers quickly. It didn't get too crowded, but the patrons definitely tripled by the time we were finished with our meal. The server was friendly and handled all of the orders expertly, and lol, her little boy brought the dishes out to the table for you. It started to feel more like eating at a B&B. And the food is amazing--you have to go here. That board that I was telling you about, more fresh made foods were being written on the board while we were eating --the menu lived. This was an amazing experience, with rustic artwork all over the walls, friendly people willing to scoot over so that we can take pictures. We will definitely be back here. When you're in Idaho Falls, or even if you live here, take a 3 minute trip up 20 to visit this wonderful diner. I promise you won't regret it. I was having a little bit of a hard time time coming up with this review because I definitely wanted to make this a John Wayne movie lol.
