Lamb, hummus, tabbouleh salad and fatoush salad. Pita bread with garlic sauce.

It was my first time here. I was impressed with the reasonable prices. I appreciated the kindness and professionalism the staff expressed. The food was exceptional. Everything was seasoned well. I'm a huge fan of garlic! I look forward to trying another dish maybe outdoors to view the beautiful buildings.

Love the location and service was so nice. Food was really tasty and really appreciate the salad being packed separate so it doesn't get all soggy in the main container. Restaurant is simple with a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We decided to try Tete's after learning of the Mediterranean cuisine. We went on the Friday b4 V Day, got there at 5:15pm & had our choice of table or booth. My wife chose the lamb kebab ($20) & I chose the Combo kebabs ($25) I had 4 choices of protein, I went w/the beef n chicken. They brought out warm pita bread w/ garlic hummus while we waited. After a short wait, our dishes arrived & the smell was fantastic. My wife loved her lamb & said the pilaf was perfect. My beef & chicken were grilled perfectly. We will try a dessert on our next visit. Our waiter was professional & attentive. Yalla...

Arrived with my little family of 4 just around 3:30pm for an early dinner. There was a bit of traffic getting through Old Town Clovis but there was plenty of parking. We were greeted upon entry and we were the only ones there. They have plenty of indoor, outdoor seating and a bar. This place is clean. We were provided with menus as we seat and given a high chair for my 1yo and they gave my 3yo paper and crayons. My husband and I both ordered a plate. I got the chicken kabob plate which comes with hummus, a choice of salad and rice. My choices were fatoush salad with rice pilaf and hummus. My husband ordered combo kabob (2 proteins of choice) he chose lamb and beef. As we waited they brought out pita bread with garlic sauce. Both were very delicious, the pita soft and the garlic sauce was very garlicky with a hit of spice. Our order arrived about 10mins later. Plated beautifully. Noticed the large amount of salad that was provided. The rice pilaf was perfect. My chicken kabob was okay alittle on the dry side. My husband's lamb and beef was delicious. Both tender and flavorful. My fatoush salad was yum, fresh ingredients and perfect zesty dressing. Didn't realize the pita bread that was provided way before our meal was given was the pita bread that was meant for our hummus. We ended up eating it all and sharing it with the kids prior to reviving our entree. Wish they gave more on the side with our main dishes. The hummus was okay it also has a little spice to it. Overall felt it was all okay nothing really special. Our server was really nice and attentive.

Tete's Kitchen is the newest family run restaurant in Old Town Clovis and as of July 2025, they will have been open for over a month. They still haven't done much decorating, but the food and service is great! I ordered the chicken kebab plate with a Greek salad and the falafel fries. The chicken was flavorful and very juicy. I'd inhaled the saffron rice that came with his plate. The rice was perfectly cooked and the saffron flavor was upfront, but did not overpower the plate. This plate came with an option of fries or two types of salad. One being a Greek salad and the other a classic Arabic salad with chucks of tomato, cucumber, onion, with other herbs. Their hummus was on point and I don't know what the sauce was called that came with my chicken, but I could've drank it, it was that good! Solid food and friendly service. Come give Tete's a try!

Came in for a bite for lunch after shopping in old town Clovis. Did not regret it. The Shawarma's were fresh and delicious. Plenty of meat with red onion and a garlic sauce. My boy jad the fries which i think were from frozen but still were hat and tasted great with a light seasoning on them. We also tried the sabanekh pies which we thought might be like a spanakipita but ended up even better. The wait staff were polite and attentive. Two of us for lunch with an appetizer and three drinks for just over $40.

Saw this new restaurant in downtown Clovis so I had to try. The grilled chicken wasn't rubbery as typical chicken skewers can be. It's definitely charred which I personally like. The rice is perfectly fluffy and not overpowering which is how I expect rice to be. The hummus was a bit too lemon-tangy for me. I did find a piece of foil in my rice which these things happen, so I'm not too mad about that. They also forgot to put my baklava in my bag which is also my fault I should have checked.

    Labneh

I went into tetes kitchen with my daughter today and we shared a plate of food. We had the vegetable skewers and also ordered the labneh as an appetizer. All of it was so delicious. For dessert we had shared a kanafe. The kanafe was really good! My total was only $30 for a whole meal with appetizer and dessert. Overall a good experience with friendly service and would recommend this restaurant if you are in old town and need a place to eat.

The owner was very attentive and staff were friendly. Had great suggestions as it was first time there. I have a new favorite place for lamb (apparently sourced from Australia) the rice pilaf was great along with the house salad. The meat thingy I'll call it because I can't pronounce it was a delicious appetizer. It's ground beef, you'll enjoy.... The place was clean and overall I'd definitely come back and try something new.

    Outside seating too!

6/27/26 Hot & New! Must try! Getting lunch! I called and ordered the chicken Kebab plate with no rice, an extra salad instead. I also asked If she could do regular Falafel instead of fries. That wasnt a problem. The worker taking the order was very kind. Said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went to pick it up. Arrived. Nice restaurant. Clean and safe. Bar, booths and tables with chairs. Order was ready! Paid for it and left. The person that took my order was much kinder and welcoming than the person I picked the order up from. Oh well! Hopefully the lunch is good. Lunchtime! Order split! Plenty! Chicken kebab was good. Seasoned & tasty. Salad was fresh & tasty. Even better with pita chips in it. Hummus was pretty good. Pretty plain. Falafel was Really Good! Garlic sauce was really good too! Mother said hers was "Good! " Lots of salad leftovers! Good , better service calling in & Good lunch! Recommended!

Chicken kabob with yellow rice, hummus and fatoush salad. YUM!!

Everyone seemed to be Arab, which is what you want in a Middle Eastern place. I'm Lebanese who had a mother who was a great cook. I know what I'm talking about . The menu has several dishes that are real home cooking. I had several appetizers, which is the way to do it. Hummus, teboule, grape leaves, falafel, all good. I thought the kibbie was too much bulgur on the outside shell. My mother made them meatier. The ones here had a crunch. Too much burger. Service was very nice. They were a little short staffed at lunch, but that was ok. This is not your usual Lebanese place. The menu has depth. I'm from out of town, but Golden Grill is the real deal. You can tell by how many Arab people were eating there.

The 3 plates that I had today was mainly seasoned with curry, cumin, tumeric, and star anise. The salt was perfectly seasoned and very light to enhance all of the flavors. CHICKEN KABAB PLATE (8ct) - Rice, Hummus, Fattoush Salad, Pitta Bread - $18.99 :: It's a bit sad the chicken is very dry. It seems to be oven roasted or something, due to the overly dry texture and the char on the outside. The juice were striped out of the chicken. I could be wrong but the chicken is way to dry. But, good news that it's perfectly seasoned. It's a bit of everything seasoned on this chicken, but very light. I can taste the strong cumin and curry seasoning. The salt was on point. (RATE : 2/5) This plate comes with your choice of rice, fries, or bulghur and 2 cold appetizers of your choice. I picked rice, hummus, and fattoush salad. The RICE is seasoned with light on curry. The cumin and star anise seems to be a bit over powering the curry on the rice. The rice was perfectly made. It was fluffly and soft. The rice taste like it was freshly made (RATE : 5/5). The HUMMUS wasn't what I was expecting. I can't taste the nuttyness on this dish. It doesn't have much seasoning or taste. It's a bit plain (RATE : 1/5). Lastly, the FATTOUSH SALAD. I was a bit dissapointed. The salad dressing doesn't have any flavor to it. All the vinegar drip down to the bottom and you cant taste it much. The dressing was very light here. I wish the salad could be a bit bigger to grab instead of shredded (RATE : 2/5). OVERALL on this plate I would give it a RATING of 2.5/5. I can see potential and it's not bad. SAJ - KAFTA - SANDWHICH COMBO - Fries, Labneh, Pickled Salad - $12 :: For the sandwhiches menu, they have an option for SAJ or PITA. I wanted to try the saj for today. The only difference is that the saj does not have yeast so it's flatter than the pita. It just depends on your choice if you want a breadier wrap or skinny wrap. They taste exactly the same. The KAFTA is a texture of patty. It was a mixure blend of a couple different meat like beef and lamb. The taste and texture just taste exactly like a juicy burger on the first bite. The gameyness from the lamb was very light and the labneh helps mellow it down a lot. All of the seasoning was on point (RATE : 5/5). The FRIES were on point. It was freshly out of the oil. Nicely salted and seasoned. (RATE : 5/5) The LABNEH was also awesome. It taste like a softer and lighter version of horseradish. I believe it was made out of yogurt. (RATE : 5/5) The PICKLED SALAD taste just like out of the jar. Nothing special here. (RATE : 3/5) OVERALL : I'll give this sandwhich combo a RATING 5/5. SAJ - GOLDEN GRILL - SANDWHICH COMBO - Fries, Labneh, Pickled Salad - $16 :: The golden grill meat was a mixture of shreded chicken, beef, and sujuk. The texture was perfectly softened and juicy. Ive never had many texture of meat together before. Biting into it, every little bite feels weird. There's too many texture. I'm not a big fan but the meat it self is just perfectly soft, tender, and juicy. The seasoning is lightly seasoned with salt cumin, curry and star anise. RATE: 3/5 AMBIANCE : It's a very fancy shop with nice decorations. I love the dark oak masculine and modern decorations and a touch of gold. They have a few of Turkish pictures and decorations around the building. There's lots of seatings and its very spacious. The tables are neat and clean. They have soft Syrian music on. There's not much guest there so it's very quiet. RATE : 5/5 SERVICE : Friendly and attentive service. I wasn't sure how to order and the young gentlemen helped my with my order. The wait was a good 15 minute long for 3 plate. They cook everything fresh and hot. RATE : 5/5 OVERALL : Great location for a little hangout or a date. The interrior is very romantic with those cute little Turkish lamp. I would totally recommend giving them a try. Maybe not the chicken kabab but something else. Their seasoning are on point. The seasoning is strong but it's not over powering. And again, this is Lebanese and Syrian style on Mediterranean Cuisine which includes lots of turmeric and curry taste. Last thing I want to add is that their price on these plates are on a bit pricey side. But the portions are pretty huge so it's worth it.

Golden Grill - Kids Chicken Kabob was delicious. Love the hummus and rice pilaf as well. All very flavorful. 5 out of 5.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.

My husband and I actually started coming here because we received a gift certificate on our wedding day, so every visit has always been meaningful to us. Unfortunately, our most recent visit completely changed how I feel about this restaurant. Our waitress was Brenda (a middle-aged Caucasian woman with glasses). I want to be clear about who served us because my receipt also listed the name Brenda, and I would hate for another employee to receive this review by mistake. We were seated fairly quickly even though it was a very busy night and the restaurant was full. I want to say upfront that I completely respect how hard servers work, and I understand busy nights happen. However, after sitting for quite a while without anyone taking our order, I politely told Brenda that we were ready. I am diabetic and was not feeling well, so the wait was starting to affect me. Her response was, "Sorry, we're really busy tonight and there are only three of us waitressing." I understood that they might be short staffed, but at the very least she could have taken our drink order. Instead, she continued cleaning tables and serving other customers. I watched four different tables get seated after us and receive drinks, salads, and appetizers before we even placed our order. As someone who has been coming here for years, I have never felt so uncomfortable or overlooked in this restaurant. In 2026, no customer should feel that way anywhere. When our food finally came, everything arrived at once -- our hummus, salad, and entrée -- which made the experience feel rushed and poorly handled. When I asked Brenda for more napkins, she never returned to our table. We eventually had to go to the register ourselves to pay because she never brought our check. Before leaving, I explained to her how the situation made me feel. She responded with several explanations about being busy and short staffed, but that was never the real issue. The issue was the way we were treated. She forgot who we were all night but when it came to pay my tab, she definitely knew what table we were sitting at because her response was. I'll get your tab for table 3.. The food was amazing as it has always been, but sadly the service we received completely ruined the experience. After nearly nine years of coming here, this will unfortunately be my last visit.

But that wasn't the case and unfortunately, I got cheated out of some chicken. to make matters worse when you complain the DoorDash instead of refunding you the full meal, they only give you 10 bucks back after you spent over $45 for a dinner. This is a shame restaurants are doing this more often when they are skipping back on the food and the material when it's through DoorDash and then DoorDash does not hold them accountable.
