I stopped in to inquire about a spontaneous arrangement for a friend. Paul was able to have the flowers ready the next morning and they were gorgeous! A unique, seasonal arrangement that was so perfect, it didn't even look real. Reasonably priced. Stunning and well received by my friend. She deserved something special and Paul at Tesoro did not disappoint. I will not hesitate to trust my next floral order to Paul @ Tesoro! read more

I was recommended this flower shop by the concierge Alana at the Alila Napa Valley hotel. I wanted to surprise a very special lady for her birthday. I called and left a message and then decided to visit the website. I placed an order very easily and within minutes Paul, the owner called me back. Alana let me know the owners name in advance. I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU because Paul and his team went above and beyond to make sure my surprise was a success. I highly recommend them and wish I lived closer so I could give them more of my business. I'm one satisfied customer and your flowers truly made the birthday girl feel special! I hired Tesoro Flowers for my wedding flowers. Paul & the team at Tesoro Flowers absolutely knocked it out of the park. They took my vision and elevated it to artistry, and incredibly, they did it all on budget. Paul was flexible and responsive, helping us think through all the elements of the event and prepare. The team was generous, creative, professional and the output was pitch perfect. For our spring wedding, I asked for bright, joyful pops of color. Walking into the reception, my mom said she felt like she was walking through a glowing meadow! When I saw the arrangements coming in, I gasped! When I saw my bouquet for the first time, I actually teared up it was so beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you hire Tesoro Flowers!!! read more

Paul is amazing. We were planning a destination wedding at Auberge du Soleil so it was hard to fly to Napa to figure out the details. Paul is extremely responsive by email. We communicated via email - I emailed him a couple pictures of bouquets that I liked and he totally nailed it!!! His prices were extremely reasonable. He is beyond helpful and patient addressing all the changes we needed to make over the course of a year long of planning. If you are considering Paul/Tesoro, look no further ! I was absolutely delighted with the flowers for my wedding in October 2016. read more

I am in Foster City and needed to have flowers sent to my Grandmother in Sonoma. I had researched on Yelp for florists in Sonoma and that was when I found Tesoro. The day I wanted to place the order, I did not have my cellphone or access to a desktop to do an online order so using the landline, I called Tesoro. The person who answered was very pleasant and helpful. I did not have any specific flowers in mind for the arrangement so upon the person's advice went with bright seasonal flowers. I want you to know the floral arrangement was gorgeous! Tesoro did such a fabulous job! And it really brightened my Grandmother's day. I would definitely use them again. read more

Had a great experience with Tesoro! I called them from the Airport two days before I was eloping with my husband in Santa Rosa and had no clue what I wanted. I needed a bouquet, needed it delivered to my hotel and wanted to also keep to a budget. I told them what I didn't like and told that I like Calla Lilies and basically told them they could do whatever they wanted - bright colors or all white. They ended up delivering (not just on time, but early) an absolutely gorgeous bouquet in several shades of white - calla lilies, white roses and gardenias, so pretty that I brought it with me on the plane when it was time to go home (currently hanging up to dry in my kitchen!). Kate Stanley of Kate Stanley Designs recommended Tesoro when she was unavailable the day I requested and I'm glad I chose them. read more

Tesoro flowers for our wedding were perfect! I worked with Paul on our Auberge du Soleil wedding and he was great. We were planning remotely, and he was super easy to get in touch with and really helpful whenever we spoke. ordered a birthday bouquet to be delivered to our favourite winery sight unseen based on the positive reviews on yelp. was disappointed by the roses which were white dipped in pink. i ABHOR dipped roses. you know, when you say roses and don't specify the color, you expect velvet red roses. nevertheless, the bouquet was creative and the recipient loved it so in the end that's all that matters. the experience of ordering the flowers and figuring out the logistics was great - Tesoro was accommodating and totally came through. also, i thought it was quite reasonably priced. best of all, the arrangement is still looking great almost a week later read more

We had a great experience with Tesoro at our Sonoma wedding this past June! Paul and his team were incredibly easy to work with. My wife gave Paul a loose description of what we were going for but she was having trouble finding specific examples, and he absolutely nailed it! The ceremony arrangements were lovely, my wife's bouquet was beautiful, and the centerpieces were understated and subtle -- totally what we were going for. Tesoro was self sufficient in coordinating with our baker for the flowers to top the cake as well. I did plenty of research before going with Tesoro and the prices are not only competitive, but worth the service you get. It's also nice that they have their own assortment of vases and containers so you aren't dealing with inflated rental prices. I can't recommend Paul & his team enough, the flowers at our wedding were truly incredible! read more

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Paul Stokey and Tesoro Flowers for our wedding at Auberge du Soleil a few weeks ago. Paul did the flowers for our wedding at Ramekins Culinary School in Sonoma. I met with two other florists in addition to Paul, and I just felt so comfortable with Paul's relaxed, attentive demeanor. I wanted beautiful flowers without spending a fortune; however, I didn't have really specific ideas besides color and "vibe". Even at our first meeting, without pictures, I felt like Paul knew exactly what I was going for and would be able to execute it. I came back with a few pictures, colors, etc. once we decided to work together, and he was very responsive via email as well. We had originally discussed two traditional arrangements for the ceremony, but then I decided I would love to have hanging vases from the arbor at Ramekins. Paul made this happen without much increase in the budget and created a stunning ceremony backdrop. The coral & pink bouquets, featuring dahlias, roses, and succulents were absolutely amazing! He made succulent boutonnieres for the guys that looked fabulous with their suits, and lovely wrist corsages for the mothers and grandmothers. The table arrangements were fantastic--colorful, fresh, with a "just-picked" look. He also provided potted succulents for our cocktail tables. Paul was so easy to work with, reasonably priced, and created amazing florals that made our wedding so beautiful! I highly recommend his work! read more

Amazing and affordable. I came in with a very last minute request and Tesoro more than accommodated my needs by creating four incredibly stunning arrangements in no time at all. After searching many florists to do our wedding this past September at Cornerstone Gardens, we chose Paul. The main reason we selected him was because his prices were reasonable and he was located right on property -I was worried it could be hot over Labor Day and the flowers would be fresher. WELL - now, after the wedding - I would have flown him to NYC to do our wedding. He is beyond talented and super easy to work with. We had him do flowers for our Luau (rehearsal dinner), Bridal luncheon, and Wedding. Everything was spectacular. Especially our Chuppah - it seriously was the most gorgeous Chuppah I have ever seen. I told him what I wanted and he over-delivered. Everyone at the wedding commented for weeks about that Chuppah - people didn't want those gorgeous flowers to go to waste. Paul also has such a huge assortment of containers to choose from. The way he arranged the candles, containers, and extra small touches everywhere made our wedding a dream. He worked with me to ensure our overall wedding colors and feel was tied in together - he has great idea's. Just hire him. read more

All I can say is WOW! Paul EXCEEDED all my expectations when he did the flowers for my bridal party & reception for our wedding in Auberge du Soleil last December. I enjoyed working with him very much! Paul provided a clear, detailed quote based on my specifications. His pricing is extremely reasonable, and when you see the final product, I would even say it is a bargain! He cares about his brides and delivers the highest quality of work. I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommended! read more

Tesoro is one of the Napa Valley's premier florists and the master of the high-end wedding and events moment. Their prices will reflect that, whether you are booking them for a gathering or just brousing through the store, which is lovely, well displayed, and well stocked with most of the flower varietals you would ever want. They are very good at what they do, being owned by the principle designer, Paul Stokey. read more

My husband recently ordered an arrangement from Tesoro as a surprise for me. At first, the experience wasn't great. The arrangement that arrived, though beautifully designed, seemed a bit small for the cost. My husband contacted Tesoro, and they responded promptly and professionally to his e-mail. On top of that, without our asking, they sent over the most GORGEOUS arrangement I've ever gotten in my life! Judging from their level of professionalism, their commitment to service, and their ability to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, we'll not only use the company again but certainly recommend it to friends. read more

Paul did the flower arrangements at our Cornerstone wedding on 7/20/14 and it was as if he read my mind! Flowers were exactly how I envisioned them to be at my wedding, fun, bright and whimsical! Paul made my wedding dreams come true- including a head table that was covered with a blanket of hydrangeas all the way down to the floor. He took everything I envisioned and elevated it- so when I saw all the flowers for the bridal party, cocktail hour, and reception all I could keep saying is WOW- our reception was at the Culinary Institute in Saint Helena and he helped convert the dark barrel into an elegant romantic room. He used all the elements I wanted- succulents, orchids, lemons, manzanitas- and made it all work together without clashing. Working with him was so great, and every time I left his shop (which is gorgeous by the way) I felt confident and knew I could trust his taste. If you are getting married anywhere in Napa/Sonoma area you do not need to think twice about going to Paul for all your flower needs. He is by far the top vendor I worked with! read more

Paul at Tesoro did the flowers for our wedding at Calistoga Ranch. It is hard to articulate just how beautifully they turned out. I had a very specific vision in mind, and his execution exceeded my expectations. We wanted the arrangements to be very loose, natural, and not at all contrived. This is exactly what he delivered -- fresh, elegant arrangements that looked like they had been plucked directly from the garden. The flowers perfectly complemented the environment. Paul even made a special trip out to the property to visit the space where we were having the reception to make sure that the arrangements would feel integrated with the venue. He had innumerable conversations with me (and my mom who, being a florist herself, had some very strong opinions...), and was always kind and willing to listen and offer insightful feedback. The kindness and attentiveness he showed was all the more exceptional, given that we did not have a large budget (and he worked with us a lot to minimize unnecessary costs while ensuring that our vision could be actualized), and were having a very small wedding (~20 people) with no wedding party. We are so grateful for all his support and hard work -- he is an exceptionally talented florist who cares about his clients. I cannot recommend Paul and Tesoro highly enough. read more

Tesoro did my flowers for my wedding in November 2015. They were absolutely beautiful! I couldn't have been any happier with the outcome. My flowers were the best part of my wedding (besides getting married to my husband of course). I just have to say prior to the wedding day, I communicated with Paul multiple times via email. He was always prompt in his responses and even arranged a time to meet with me in person and sit face-to-face to discuss the flower questionnaire and vision. He has a passion for his job that is so apparent and he strives for perfection. That is what every bride dreams of! In addition, after receiving my initial flower proposal, which was too high for my budget, Paul worked with me to budget accordingly. He provided great suggestions to allow me to have as much as I could, while staying within my budget. I would recommend Tesoro to any bride without hesitation! And trust me, a lot of my vendors I wouldn't use again! Thank you so much Paul and your team for providing such beautiful flowers on my wedding day. read more

We couldn't have asked for a better experience for flowers at our wedding at the Carneros Resort. Despite the very intimate size of our wedding, Paul and his team were very professional and responsive, and still made us feel that it was a top priority for them. They were also flexible and patient with a number of changes that we had to make. And the flowers themselves were gorgeous! I had shared a couple of photos with Paul in advance to help illustrate what I was looking for, and they nailed it. I would absolutely recommend Tesoro. Thank you so much, Paul and team! read more

Paul is awesome. Has a great eye and style and listened to exactly what we wanted for our wedding in Sonoma. Would definitely recommend!

I used Tesoro for my wedding at Auberge du Soleil. Paul Stokey listened to my vision, and executed the arrangements and bouquets perfectly! Had a great experience with Tesoro. Paul really listened to my vision of what I wanted for my wedding bouquet and created an amazing bouquet. Cut flowers sent by an out of town friend were dead within a couple of days despite proper care once they got to my house. . Everything looked like it was left over from the week before...bent/broken stems, half dead roses and lots and lots of filler stems that were not in good shape. I think the delivery person took them home overnight and forgot to put them in water. I would not use this florist. read more

Tesoro did my wedding at the Meritage. They were great to deal with leading up to the wedding but on the day of my wedding they showed up late and the flowers looked like they belonged in another wedding. The flowers were not what I wanted, the colors were totally off. Amy was less than friendly the day of my wedding and when I contacted Paul after the wedding to express my disappointment I never heard back. Flowers were never going to be the focus of my wedding this past May 2014. I love flowers, but I wanted to focus my budget elsewhere. I did want to find a florist to do 2 bouquets (bride and maid of honor) as well as 2 larger flower arrangements (reception welcome and dessert tables). After talking to a couple of florists in San Francisco (where my wedding was taking place), I was not too impressed with their customer service. So I went with a personal recommendation from a co-worker and discovered Tesoro Flowers in Sonoma. I live in Sonoma County so even though they didn't deliver, I would still be able to pick up the flowers before heading to SF. Cecilia handled my reservation with aplomb while Paul and Melissa graciously answered all my questions! They were so helpful in the whole process, especially considering how small my order was. I had a specific color scheme in mind (blues and sage greens) while having a specific set of flowers that I would like and others that I did not want. When I picked up the flowers, they were STUNNING!! They even used olive branches, which I had secretly wanted to suggest but was afraid that I was going to be too specific. There were even these purple flowers that didn't open until the day of the wedding, which added a beautiful surprise element. Everyone at the wedding remarked on how gorgeous the flowers were. I highly recommend Tesoro Flowers the next time you need flowers for an event!! read more
