Well, well, well... What to do on a Friday night?…read more Yesss! Go to the 24/7 tire shop to replace tires!! (And flirt and laugh with the mechanic guys) Having fun and being safe is the most important things to me when I'm driving a semi, but staying safe is not really the back burner thing. It's the #1 thing and very important to maintain my semi truck and trailer everyday. Every single day before I even start my truck up I walk around it to check the tires, for leaks, my brake air hoses connections, and a few other things but these are the main things. Today I noticed my tires are used up from the winter snow and ice and it's getting really hot, in some places it's over 100° in some states on the interstate. So anyways, I pull into this shop, about 9pm last night. I cake on my lip gloss and put my pocket knife on my pocket and got the Big Boss Hogg down out of the truck because I really never know if these guys are going to be jerky creeps or what. We walk into the shop and right away a young guy named Lex happily greet us and offered a beverage. He's a dog lover so he brought Bossy a cold water. He told me they were going to to finish up the truck in front of me and get me in next. I needed to replace 4 tires today and had an idea it might be at least 1 1/2 hours of labor, 2 hours max which he confirmed. So normally it would an all night headache dealing with Loves or Pilot being unprofessional and listening to 3 to 6 hours waiting just to get in, so I knew this was going to be excellent. Sure enough Lex gave the guy his receipt and I pulled my truck in and 2 other mechanics started working on it right away. So me and Bossy sat and was talking and laughing with him and the shop owner on the bench watching the mechanics and as other truckers come to line their trucks up for service. The atmosphere of the shop was decent, I couldn't complain. Badda Boom, Badda Bing! It was done within an hour. He gave me my receipt for $2478.00 so that's about $500 a tire, plus labor and taxes. So, 2 new front steer tires and 2 matching Bridgestone drive tires after normal business hours. I was ecstatic they did not over charge me and were very nice. I loaded up the dog and off we went to call it a night in the reserved customer parking place. So all in all the lip gloss worked and thank god I didn't have to use my knife. I highly recommend this commercial truck shop for any trucker that needs to have any kind if maintenance done.

Melanie, Joel, and the techs were doing everything they could to get answers and kept us informed with each step. Joel said they could not find anything that stuck out, however he wanted us to stay until the suspension tech was in the next day. Not something we wanted to hear but it turned out to be for the best because we left, stopped to get gas, and things got worse. We checked into the Baymont off Main St. (awesome staff here as well). The next day Melanie had arranged for John and Stan to come and pick up the car to drive it back. Stan pulled into their parking lot, stopped, something fell to the ground, and that's when they discovered the transfer box for the front to back differential broke completely apart. They were able to drag the car in, lift it, and determine the extent of the damage. They found the part in Memphis so we would need to wait another day until it arrived. We were very happy to have an answer and we were very grateful that everyone at the shop was so helpful. Will helped us empty the car when our other ride came to pick us up as well as hook up our small trailer. This shop was SO busy and the entire staff remained professional, courtesy and didn't let the pressure get to them. Took my newly acquired car to PM this morning for transmission work. The Service Writer, Tony was…read morevery personable and kept me updated throughout the day. However, as soon as I was dropped off to pickup my car, I noticed a sizable scratch and scraped area on the lower, right front fender. I know it wasn't there before because I'd just waxed the car couple days before taking it to the shop. I immediately went inside and told Tony about. He came out and looked for himself. He said it couldn't have happened there because nobody told him about it. He called a Tech over and asked him about it. He denied hitting anything. Of course nobody reported it. It's human nature. I'm sure they were hoping I wouldn't notice it. I went ahead and paid them nearly $600.00 for the work they performed. It was a real kick in the teeth to spend that much money only to find they damaged my vehicle. They made no offer to make it right. I didn't even get an apology. I told them I would never patronize them again, and that I was going to review them on Yelp. They didn't seem concerned. My advice, if you do take your car there, take pictures of the entire car. In my opinion, someone there is a liar.
