You may think that you'll settle for KFC - which you think is open until midnight - but you'll find that they lock the dining room early, at 9:45pm - even though the sign on the door says it's open until 10pm. So you'll end up at Speedway and eat a nasty Slim Jim as there are no other options. Even if you call an Uber - other local restaurants within a few miles close at 10pm also. I did find the charger was faster than people complained about - but I honestly don't ever want to get stranded here for an hour again. Avoid at all costs. In Winter the parking lot where the chargers are located are in an ill-plowed icy lot where you'll take your life in your hands upon stepping out your car door.

The Chevy I'm driving can handle it, but check your make and model. I think if you can take a CCS, you're good. Tesla stations nearby, there are security lights and it's in back of a town admin bldg, but partially visible from the road. Walkable McDonald's, and two gas stations. Personally, I'd be creeped out at night here since you're basically in the woods rather than a truck stop or travel plaza, but that's me, who feels safer in populated areas. I have no issue using this in the day. BUT I think all of these places should have security cams. Situational awareness at any of these stations at night. Worse case, you feel weird, charge just enough to get to a more populated area.

The bathroom options aren't great, and in fact one bathroom was broken. But, I'm just happy that this was here when I needed it. I could have spend hours going through all the great old vinyl that's in this small store. Prices of the albums were fair and the day I was there I received a 25% discount on the purchase of four or more used albums. My favorite find was an old Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart album BeckOla. Other customers in the store were equally excited as I was with all the great albums. And, hey Rob, I've got the four artists we discussed on the Romantic Warrior album. They are: Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White and Al DiMeola. PS I'm living in Hammondsport NY now, only 35 minutes from the CD CAFE, I will be back.
