I wanted to document and share an experience I had recently with the Beaty Chevrolet service…read moredepartment in Knoxville, TN. I had purchased my 2022 Trailblazer from them back in 2022 and had a pleasant buying experience at that time. I've been to the service department many times for oil changes and routine maintenance, and for the most part I've also had good experiences. But recently the check engine light had come on and so I first took it to my regular mechanic to have it diagnosed. He said the code was indicating the water pump was likely going to need to be replaced, and that this was a big job and an expensive job, and he said it's still under the drivetrain warranty. So his recommendation was to bring it back to the Chevy dealer, which is what I did. I made an appointment and dropped the car off and was assigned a service advisor named Kane. I had a pleasant conversation with Kane when I dropped off the car and let him know that I wasn't in a rush to get the car back but I would like him to keep me updated on it. A week later, I had not heard anything and so I texted the number that Kane sent to me to ask for a status. I didn't get a response, so a couple days later I called the number and asked to speak with Kane. I was transferred to his line and left a detailed message on his voice mail including my call back number. I got no call back, so after a week I called again and explained the situation to another advisor. He said he wasn't sure why Kane wasn't responding, but that he'd route me to Kane right away. Unfortunately, that transfer again went to Kane's voicemail, and I left yet another message for him that went unanswered. The next day was now September 16, which was more than 2 weeks since I dropped the car at the dealer. I called the switchboard operator and explained that I am having an issue with an employee named Kane and I needed to speak with his manager. I was put on hold for several minutes, and was surprised when Kane answered the call. I told him who I was and reminded him that I have left a few messages for him regarding my car. He immediately went into a rude, and even belligerent status, and started telling me that he texted me a week earlier to pick up my car (which was not true) and that I needed to get there and pay the 200 dollars and take the car. I told him that I received no phone call and no text from him and asked him what was done to justify the $200 expense. He said that was the diagnostic fee, no issues were found and they turned off the check engine light. I feel it is unacceptable to charge 200 dollars to simply turn off the light and I'm certain this issue will resurface again; most likely after the warranty period expires. Kane then very rudely reiterated for me to pick up my car, pay the bill and then promptly hung up on me. Wow, that is not the type of service I ever want to experience again. Not ever, not from any company. I contemplated refusing to pay that bill, but it's probably not worth 200 dollars to immerse myself into additional unwanted drama. I will never be back to Beaty Chevrolet for any reason. Not to purchase a car, and definitely not for service. The fact that the manager didn't want to hear from me and routed my call back to the service advisor is also unacceptable. If a company has an employee that behaves that way, a leader of the company has to deal with those situations. It's not fun to hear from clients that are unhappy, and it's not fun reprimanding employees that are not meeting the company standards, but it has to be done. I will share this experience with as many review sites that I can.

POOR experience all the way around. Spent 2-3 days working with their nonchalant attitude, and…read moreclearly got the vibe they could care less to sell a car and make their clients happy, only to be bait & switched in the final hour. If you want an honest and pleasant car buying experience (which I is hard to come by in the auto industry unfortunately), please choose another dealer. Was extremely upfront in desiring a car they had on their lot I wanted to purchase (and make a quick decision on) and was even ready to make a multi hour trip to get it, shared more information that I needed to about another deal I had on the table in the spirit of transparency and ultimately received a promise of a price that was then reneged on in the final hour (due to a "mix up"), as well as extra padded costs added onto the final price. Untrustworthy all the way around. They'll charge you double what most dealers will charge you for a customer service/doc fee and then they'll charge you another $600 for an MBK package for a coating THEY chose to put on all of their cars which is non-negotiable (last time I checked, the buyer should have that option). They'll also avoid your request to break down the "taxes and fees section" to make it cumbersome to know what you're paying for what. In the end, I was ready to pay more money for a car with merely a different color scheme than a deal I already had on the table (and was ready to make a lengthy drive to get it) all for them to ultimately screw up the deal over $500. $500! They obviously care more about ego than selling cars. And oh, by the way this was all over a 2026 leftover! Honestly, I dodged a bullet, as I imagine I would've been met with more dishonesty once getting onsite. Do yourself a favor - don't deal with the immature and inexperienced salespeople here (they're a dime a dozen anyway) and find yourself someone with more experience from another dealer.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Rude Sales Management and No Follow-Up…read more We visited this Honda dealership as we begin shopping for a new Honda Pilot. Our goal was simple -- to understand current pricing and trade-in value so we could compare across multiple dealerships before purchasing by the end of the year. Our salesperson was polite, but the sales manager, Joe Jemley, was shockingly rude and dismissive simply because we mentioned that we planned to compare pricing from multiple dealerships. He actually questioned whether they "wanted to give us pricing" on a car and refused to provide a trade-in value for our vehicle. His attitude throughout the interaction was abrupt, condescending, and completely unprofessional. After the visit, I reached out to our sales rep and asked for someone above Joe to contact me to discuss the situation. I was told the GSM, Trustin Hampton, would call me the next business day -- that call never happened. I then called the dealership myself and asked to speak with Joe Jemley's manager, Chris Denny, and was transferred to his voicemail. That call was never returned either. This experience reflects a complete failure of leadership at multiple levels. Joe Jemley's conduct showed a total lack of professionalism, and the fact that no one from senior leadership followed up only reinforces the poor culture and accountability at this dealership. We will not be returning, and we strongly recommend visiting AutoNation Honda or Rusty Wallace Honda instead -- their professionalism and customer service were exceptional and a night-and-day difference from what we experienced at Airport Honda.

I first made an inquiry on a Granturismo. I was told the car was available and proceeded to make an agreed upon deal for it. I had my credit checked and got approved for the agreed upon deal given. Everything was going smoothly and went as planned. As the days went on after approval, things started changing. Long story short, I was told my deal could not be made anymore out of the blue. I was essentially lied to. Their word and promises all changed last minute. This is a very sad, shady, deceptive, and poor way of doing business, and for those reasons, I advise you not to do any sort of business here because they'll 100% play games with you. This dealership does not truly stick to their word or promises and is not honest. I sent a few recent texts today in which I didn't receive any responses or correspondence from so that means I'm being ghosted, which is very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional behavior. If you have a choice and especially from my recent experience here, do not do business with this dealership because it's not a good feeling what I went through and I'd hate for you to have to go through what I did too. Save yourself the pain and agony. How does someone not stick to their word is truly beyond me. I was not taken care of as I was promised I would be. It's unfortunate to know that in the end, this was the circumstance and what I deserved as a customer and client. No one cares at all to make any of the wrongdoing to me right.
