After calling to discuss business, one of the associates did not even begin to give me the time of day. As I was explaining our needs the associate hung up, but not before mumbling something under his breath. I can sit here and say I am thankful to never do business with such a B grade company. I'd rather stick a paper clip in an outlet than do business with H & A.

Very Professional & Great Service!…read more We had a large dining room pendant lamp & several dimers installed. We are very happy with the service we received from Dwayne & his associate from Whynn Electric. Dwayne returned my call promptly & answered all my questions regarding the estimate. The price was fair in regards to other estimates, but I was most impressed because they were one of the few companies that had a set price & did not charge per hour. (As I heard nightmares about hourly rates) The day of the job, they arrived on time & were extremely friendly. They even swept & cleaned up after the job was done. I would highly recommend them & plan on using them again in the future!

I reside in a beautiful hundred year old brownstone in Harlem love everything about it, but as…read moreyou'd imagine a bldg this old has well quirks and often needs attention from window people, radiator people, plumbers and so on. My point is In the 20 plus years of living in this flat I've had more than my fair share of workman, repair people, restorers, painters and plumbers...I could go on. Most get the job done, most are pleasant but, not by a long shot, are all, even subpar. Some are surly, late , Ill-prepared. Some so shoddy as to need another repair person to repair what the first repair-person attempted.. all of this to say I've seen all I care to see of what passes for customer service these days and shudder at the thought of anything in need of attention. But of course life happens. Things break, wear out etc... first to go : my door intercom, the release, didn't. Then the closet light stopped working. and of course then, the track lighting in the living room. is it the track , a fuse, a short ? was anyone's guess. Calls were made to the Bldg owner appts were made I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.. AND Then that's exactly what showed up the best. Solutions were arrived at that didnt send me to the highest costing option available, friendly prompt left in an hour all issues resolved my place neat as pin and a cost no more than I might spend in in decent restaurant for dinner for 4. And I'm not in the dark anymore! Could not be happier ask for Jaiden Lee if you have that option but I'm sure everyone is great there if he is any indicator. They have my business and yes I well realize how gushy this sounds, he was that good. Great job guys you made my day thanks!

Can do better for the price…read more I called him directly, explained my house situation, scheduled with his secretary confirming the cost of the operation (already grounded outlet, need to change it from 2 to three prong) $150 when the agreed upon was $120 initially, and $110 at a local union electrician who did odd jobs on his off time. He comes to my house and seems in a hurry to get started, I ask him to confirm the price and he goes from $120 to $150. IN retrospect I wish I had just said no right there, but our fridge was out and the Kitchenaid Service repairman said to change the outlet or else they wouldn't do the operation. I felt like he took advantage of us in a bad time sensitive situation. Would not recommend. The change in the price on the spot after two confirmations is a huge red flag. This was after missing the appointment the day before. Unprofessional.
