And is it cheap! You'll find lots of interesting foodstuffs for around half the price you'll find them at the nearest high street grocery store. Deepak is also a spice haven: their spice section extends along two lengthy aisles. They're also really good for cheap fresh fruit and vegetables, though if there is one thing they fall a little short on it's their selection of fresh meat. The best thing about Weybridge is the free multi storey car park meaning on a wet day one doesn't have to get wet. Also for those on a tight budget or are naturally frugal I've noticed a large crowd at the reduced to clear section, they always seem to have stacks of products close to expiry so bargain hunters have a wide range of goods to chose from. The store itself is old and could do with refurbishment and what doesn't help is a relatively new Morrisons superstore further exacerbating the advanced years of the Weybridge Waitrose.

Using my sat nav just to try find a grocery shop and I passed budgens and as I was trying to find a safe place to turn around I happen to find Tesco which to my delight had a big car park which was sign posted very well! So I got a great spot next to the entrance and at first grabbed a basket as I knew this was a small store but just going down one aisle I then decided I needed a trolley as there was more items you can get through this store! I ended up doing my whole weekend shopping which was great for me as I didn't have to venture anywhere else and the queues for the till was very short and staff were very friendly!

This is a monster of a supermarket. Spread over two levels (and seemingly several acres) it is no…read morelonger just a grocery store. In addition to food and staples, you can buy clothes, appliances, computers, televisions, plus, as the ads will tell you, pet insurance, car insurance and other financial products. In common with other large supermarkets, they often move things around and expand their offering and sometimes their actual space. They have a deli counter, fish counter, meat counter and a takeaway counter (hot food). Clothes and fashion are upstairs. When I say 'stairs', I mean a sloped travelator, which, most annoyingly, announces to all and sundry that you are approaching the end of the line. The clothes are very reasonably priced, and there is a huge selection. Produce is good, and selection throughout the store is comprehensive. This is a good, enormous Tesco. Even the car park is huge. They are open often and late (24 hours during the week); during normal human shopping hours, it can be very crowded. I can recommend this, as much as I recommend any supermarket. It takes a while to shop here because of its size, and that can get frustrating. You may also, during busy times, have to park in Madrid. All in all, a good, large, superstore supermarket.

It's got a huge range of items, although no adult clothing (other than underwear) or much in the way of electronics/media/toys, unlike even bigger stores. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. For me it's useful because it has an in-store cafe. This is a proper cafe, selling meals and hot drinks, whereas my home Tesco at Harrow now has a coffee shop franchise inside. In addition it's open 24 hours and has a petrol forecourt, as well as a pharmacy, fish counter, meat counter, clothing and photo processing. I would love to have the time to spend inside this store but I'm always rushing to or from the centre where I teach. Also useful to note that they have cashtills.
