It is a tesco. It's not bad it's not great but just ok. You can pick up all your general needs from a loaf to tattie scones. Bacon to a pint of milk. Let's face it all their stores are much the same these days and I wish there was a defining feature to big up but there really isn't. It has a petrol station if that is a positive defining feature and an area to pick up your internet ordered shopping. Ok I'm going to tap out at this point. It's just a tesco. read more

TERRIBLE attitude for the third time ( same employee)at till checkout 23 on the 19/11/19 Bad assistance provided by customer services staff on the complaint. Duty manager stated he would investigate my complaint and advised front line customer services were also wrong. They gave me a number to call TESCO HQ the number provided on a Tesco card was no longer in use. What a terrible overall service and approach by staff at the Irvine shop. read more

This Tesco is huge! There is everything you can imagine inside, toys, games, dvds, tvs, frying pans, wine, clothes, food, cafe, everything! Friendly staff, decent cafe, easy access to all areas, excellent range of all of the above. read more

I have been in this store, and it is huge, and nice. But it is bit smallish for me. But it offers similar things as most tesco stores. Even there is good car parking area. and I liked their Cafe area, as it is on the upper level which you can overlook the shop-floor, but I am not keen on their ceiling, which it is bit too low, and blocks the views read more

Huge store, in fact almost too big to find what you need. Has non groceries, a good selction of clothes, a large cafe and almost everything else in between. Always busy. Also has fuel/ garage. Don't like the access road in, it can be difficlut to get near the store once the road has meandered you round about. read more

This tesco store is one of the largest ones in Ayrshire. It has everthing that you would expect from a Tesco store. It Everything is easy to locate. It has excellent parking. It is also quite close to the Rivergate shopping centre. The staff are always willing to help when there is something that you are looking for and unable to find. The have a very large cloting department. There is always great deals on offer in store. There is also dedicated isles which cater for basic car needs from oil to screenwash and anti freeze and car shampoo and polish kits. And even mats and wiper blades etc. There is also dedicate isles for entertainment which contains cds,dvds,video games all at very competitive prices. They even sell electrical equipment such as tvs,dvd players and some hi fi equipment. read more

Went into Tesco cafe Irvine today for something to eat. It was awful. After having to wait for about 10 mins to be served. Ordered macaroni cheese and chips, chips were typical frozen but macaroni tasted like the dried stuff you buy in a box, for £4.99 you received one ladle of runny pasta and sauce. I could have bought it for £1 off the shop floor. Will never step foot in that cafe again. food awful, service poor. read more

The Tesco store in Irvine is one of the largest Tescos in the country.It has been continually expanding since it opened.To achieve this it has been taking over adjacent stores and utilising the space and growing to such an extent that the original store which was a fair size to start with would just about fit into all the extensions. The store itself inside is awesome with just about anything you could imagine buying being available. It is open 24/7 and during normal trading hours ie say 8am to 8pm you will find it constantly busy.You have all the regular supermarket departments with the addition of an extensive electrical dept.,a pharmacy,dry cleaners,coffee shop which is always busy.It used to be located next to checkouts but since renovation has moved upstairs so you can get the benefit of refreshments and a fantastic overview of the store.I eould recommend a visit to this store if you are ever in Irvine and you wont be disappointed read more
