It doesn't stock some of the items that are available at the Prestwick branch so I don't spend as much at Irvine . It's an ok shop. But I was annoyed today by the downright rude assistant in the self scan. I needed wine authorising. She came up behind me giving me quite a fright. Didn't say a word to me in greeting. I greeted her and she said nothing. She authorised the alcohol and I thanked her. She said nothing. She walked away having not acknowledged I was a human being. Absolutely woeful customer service. I wonder if the fact I'm elderly and in my 70s had something to do with her thinking I wasn't worth being civil to?

The shelves are usually well filled, always lots of staff around to help. Sometimes the queues can get a bit big at checkouts but they usually bring more on so you don't have to wait too long. When you walk in you see the fresh selection of vegetables followed by the delli counter then the meat counter, fish monger and pastry, with plenty of staff managing each section and floor staff to assist if required. I've always been a fan of their buy one get ten free offers, all the Morrison's stores have a good selection of wines and bottled beer's.
