Using my sat nav just to try find a grocery shop and I passed budgens and as I was trying to find a safe place to turn around I happen to find Tesco which to my delight had a big car park which was sign posted very well! So I got a great spot next to the entrance and at first grabbed a basket as I knew this was a small store but just going down one aisle I then decided I needed a trolley as there was more items you can get through this store! I ended up doing my whole weekend shopping which was great for me as I didn't have to venture anywhere else and the queues for the till was very short and staff were very friendly!

The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. It's got a huge range of items, although no adult clothing (other than underwear) or much in the way of electronics/media/toys, unlike even bigger stores. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Always clean and always busy but plenty of staff so no long wait at the check-out. Interesting architecture, a previous review suggested that it used to be a railway station - Nope! It was the Kayser Bondor until the 1980's when it was bought by Tesco. Kayser Bondor made ladies stockings - but switched to making parachutes during World War II. Wish that we had selection like this in the USA!!!!

As it is an Extra, it stocks everything from TV's to toothpaste, so everything you need is under one roof. The car park is large (and needs to be as it does get busy), and the store also contains a petrol garage.

The store was clean and well organized. The shelves were stocked up nicely and like I said they have a good variety of items that they offer. I had limited exposure to the employees but the one I did talk to for a quick moment seemed pretty friendly and helpful. If I need anymore items on my trip I will definitely be popping back over to this store.

I had visited several locations while in London and they are all laid out roughly the same, making it easy to find what you need. They are slightly cheaper than posh smaller markets, but it is a standard chain grocery store, so quality is a little less for meat, fruit, veggies, etc. There are quite a few around London and its outskirts, so never had an issue while visiting, which is great. All and all, I overall was quite happy with my visits.
