Their range of ready made meals always taste nice. Also their reward scheme is good, and you can choose your own charity too which some of the money goes to.

I have taken pictures of the sugar selection alone to send to friends back home in the US. Check-out staff are very pleasant. Only downside is that floor staff think nothing of blocking aisles with restocking carts, chatting while they work (slowly), and simply walking in front of you -- especially if you back off slightly to avoid gridlock with other clients. This makes getting through the store difficult -- and getting what you want off the (blocked) shelves harder, contributing greatly to the frustration factor in an already crowded store.

Marks and Spencer continues to be a great company, offering a lot for the customer's money in terms of both quality and customer service. Typical M&S employees are very well trained, with polite, courteous manners that actually feel sincere as opposed to the sunny/fakie nonsence that you get in an LA mall. Very "British". I love the food in Marks and Spencer. I miss it if I am out of the UK. The homewares are great. Organic Cotton bed linen... room frangrance diffusers... Love it. Blue Harbour for men. Just no.
