I popped down to buy a yoghurt and when I'd got home, I found the yoghurt was open in the corner and there was dried yoghurt on the outside. I brought It back to find they were all like this, so the crate must have been dropped at some point. I often find products are left to get out of date, particularly the crisps. They're helpful when you bring the items back, though It would be nice for it not to happen initially. Overall, it is a convenient shop, and the staff are pleasant. They sell fresh fruit & veg, frozen foods, chilled food and drinks, snacks, all types of groceries and stuff for the home (toilet roll, cleaning products etc). It's bigger than your average convenience store, but much smaller than one of the big high street supermarkets. I once encountered a gang of hoodies in here, but they turned out to be not as intimidating as they first looked and quite polite in fact!

It's been like that for months, I'm amazed it hasn't been sorted out. They stock food, wine and household cleaning products. Most of the products are a few pence more expensive that the Tesco Metro down the road, but that's the price of convenience. Tesco do offer more variety and are probably a little cheaper but i rather spend the £5 i would save shopping at Tesco by going to Asda as that £5 savings does not compare to the sheer hassle and inconvenience Tesco has caused in Slough. Maybe Asda can improve the look of its products and store as it does seem out of date in that department, but overall it fulfils its purpose and is a adequate alternative.

Back in those days quite likely full of junk and definitely not live but I used to love the milky, clean flavour with the little bits of real nut. On the whole I love the trend to more 'luxurious' flavours in yoghurts. Creamy lemon curd or Greek with honey yum! But it seems that if you try to improve hazel, what you end up with is something that tastes of caramel, rather than nut. And don't even get me started on the brazil yoghurts that have replaced them in some places. I love brazils, but put them in a yoghurt and the milkyness of the nut is hidden by the yoghurt itself and all you get is sickly sweetness and the bitterness of gone-off nut. Ik. My local Tesco used to do a good hazel yoghurt. Milky rather than creamy. Generous with the 'bits'. I didn't blame them when they (and the lovely black cherry that was also part of the same line) disappeared, replaced by another line. I believed it was head office's fault, the line was discontinued, and I mourned. I was wrong. This branch has them! (And I've included a picture should anyone want to try them). I will have to go and take a star off my local branch Anyway, as to this branch It's largish for one of the smaller Tescos (come on, you know what I mean). So lots to choose from. Not often visited (though maybe now I will!), but never had a problem. And they did some awesome reductions on Christmas Eve this year: I had oven ready 'posh' stuffed pheasant at Christmas for £3 thanks to them. PS: ironically, in these yoghurts caramel is listed in the ingredients. What can I say? They've got the balance right in my opinion.

The other reviewer is right - it's larger than most of the smaller stores. Which means Krispy Kremes! Hurrah! I didn't buy any last time I was here, but I've had a graving for one ever since. Not fair. I popped in here before a BBQ and they had everything I needed. Everyone got fed and watered and was very happy. And I didn't have to set foot in a real supermarket on a Saturday afternoon.

Small but nice with absolutely everything you need, from fresh bread to fruit & veg, frozen & cupboard foods, and a great selection of beers & wines. Always well stocked up, super fresh & great quality, and above all, a friendly atmosphere and wonderful, courteous customer service. A great new Manager & a fantastic Team of people super dedicated, competent, helpful, hard working and really really lovely. And lets not forget the DJ... the lovely background music is every time just the cherry on the cake!

Open every day until 11pm, it offers all one needs just a few minutes away from the Bounds Green tube station. It has dairy products, fresh vegetables, household items and much more. In total: all you need for your home if you just want a good dinner and clean house. It is also located directly on the 221 bus route, giving it easy access to both Bounds Green and Wood Green as well as the surrounding areas.
