Staff are helpful, I bought a Waitrose bag made of jute that fell apart quite soon after purchase, no quibble at all about changing it for a newer updated design despite the price increasing. As well as a large range of groceries, including their full "world range", there's a homewares, electricals and clothing section. There's a pharmacy, Tesco mobile shop, Travel money shop, Vision Express, Timpson and a Cafe. Outside there's a car-wash and fuel station. (Note these don't all have 24 hour service). There are also toilets and an ATM. It's so large it can be hard to find things - be prepared to walk. The car park is large but can still get very busy at peak times (as can the queues to get in and out of it). The store has level access throughout, an induction loop, and disabled parking facilities. Assisted shopping is available on request, and assistance dogs are welcome.

Thankfully the top floor of the Tesco is now open, making it possible to finally do shopping in Berkhamsted without spending a small fortune in Waitrose. The store is always busy, clean and whilst quite small, surprisingly well stocked. The re-opening of the top floor means that clothes are now available as well as home essentials. This one is forever improving, they have…read moreincreased the number of self-service tills in the shop but not decreased the amount of staff on checkouts, alongside the staff stationed near to those self-service check outs. They used to have a independent flower stall inside but decided the space would better serve a trolley park... They have the obligatory coffee stop, which I have never used so can't comment on. They stock all you expect to see in a Sainsburys, they have recently added a petrol station onsite which is useful as no longer will you have to drive to Purley or Bell Green to redeem the vouchers you get which makes petrol slightly more affordable. The thing to be aware of with this Sainsburys is that it is shares a site with Crystal Palace FC (come on you Eagles). So on match days the store closes early as the car park is over run with cars from supporters from both sides, they will generally close an hour or so before kick off and open back a similar time after it. They have also installed a time limit on using the car park, it's an automated system which reads you license plate as you drive in and tells you how long you can stay for free. I have no idea what happens if you stay over this...apart from some kind of fine I guess. Also on a Sunday be aware that whilst they open at 10am you cannot purchase anything before 11am.

My late Mum and I enjoyed shopping here together and it is disabled and elderly friendly. It is also calm, and no tinned music, but they do have festive music at Christmas. The atmosphere makes it easy to focus on what you need. Friendly, and staff seem happy to be there. Not like a frenetic superstore. Hope it stays this way, just the right size.

Always well stocked up, super fresh & great quality, and above all, a friendly atmosphere and wonderful, courteous customer service. A great new Manager & a fantastic Team of people super dedicated, competent, helpful, hard working and really really lovely. And lets not forget the DJ... the lovely background music is every time just the cherry on the cake!

Open every day until 11pm, it offers all one needs just a few minutes away from the Bounds Green tube station. It has dairy products, fresh vegetables, household items and much more. In total: all you need for your home if you just want a good dinner and clean house. It is also located directly on the 221 bus route, giving it easy access to both Bounds Green and Wood Green as well as the surrounding areas.

That being said, even during the lockdowns, it is open fairly late and is really only one of two stores on this street that can be considered an actual supermarket. Enormous though it is- by UK standards- it isn't hard to get around inside and has two floors to keep things simple and easy to navigate, as well as an underground parking garage for those who dare to drive on these streets. Food and seasonal grocery-related items are on the bottom; clothing, toiletries, cookware, toys, and everything else are on the top. The prices here are very good for most items, and the quality ranges from, "I wouldn't trust this," to "I'll take ten!" The variety alone makes it worth the trip and the rather long checkout queues, as you're likely to be able to find everything you need in one go. Just don't expect a whole lot from the staff, as most will give you a lukewarm response, at best. If for any reason, you don't find what you're looking for, there are two other- smaller- grocery stores just a few minutes' walk down the street. And personally, I rather like walking here. Streatham High Street has a nice homey vibe to it.

There was something in particular I was looking for and while they didn't have it, 2 different associates were very nice in trying to help me locate it at another store. Overall, a nice place. Good location, lots of bright and natural light (always a bonus in any shop), and good selection.

The car park is huge. The home and clothes sections can be a bit untidy at times and large trolleys block the aisles. It offers a free car park but the trolleys do need a token or £1 coin in order to use them. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop clean and tidy. There is a good selection of the most popular cds, dvd's and games. It's quite easy to find- just follow the yellow Super Store signs.
