Hi there, Slough Farnham Rd branch, my observation: it's like a circus in there. I believe The management team are inexperienced and simply nasty. The store manager in particular is extremely rude, unprofessional and very aggressive. I have been a store manager for sainsburys in the past for 15 years and have never come across such disgusting service. He's happy to use foul language and also allow his staff, in particularly the European ladies to swear in public, while in uniform and on duty. The store Manager Oswald is rude to customers, has a cocky attitude and thinks he can treat customers in a bullying manner. " you need to come here so deal with it" were his words while laughing to a customer. He doesn't listen to the customers, he smirks at them and laughs at them when they are trying to make a serious complaint or point. If this is our local supermarket store manager, i can assure you, you will loose sales soon. I suggest you CHANGE the store manager asap. Absolutely disgusted. read more

Lidl Slough is really a 2.5 star experience but I am rounding it up to three. The car park is always packed and with the amount of moving traffic forward and back its hard to safely drive around. The store is always very busy and not enough tills opened due to a shortage of staff. With the store being so busy it tends to look messier than other Lidl branches. Looking at the Lidl ingredients and nutritional information of processed foods such as pizza and curries, the saturated fat content, salt and sugar levels appear to be higher than supermarkets such as Tesco and Waitrose. read more

My mother bought a vacuum cleaner from this store and after a few days noticed it was faulty. She called the store and explained the situation and also explained she had lost the receipt. After a chat with the duty manager and explaining she couldn't get to the store (she's coming up to 80 years old) carrying a vacuum cleaner, but could it wait until I visited her a week later (I live in Cheltenham) the store manager said it was ok. I brought my mum to the store to exchange the goods only to be told by a different duty manager, the exchange is not possible as she didn't have the receipt (an obstacle the previous duty manager was aware of). As the old motto goes "you know how good a company is when things go wrong". I only wish the original duty manager was good to his word. Not a good experience.
