Now, this is great for two reasons. 1) Options galore. 2) Sainsbury has certain items that I like better and vice versa. The close proximity also tends to lend a bit of competition to the items I need. For proximity, ease of shopping and having the necessities, I like this Sainsbury, even though the big one in Angel is way better, this one suits me just right 95% of the time!

The upkeep of the mini grocery store was pretty lackluster. For example, one of the big door refrigerators was out of order. A handful of the dozen or so self-checkouts either didn't take cash or was unable to print a receipt... They had a row of pastries like croissants etc, all in the open for shoppers to grab... There were no sneeze guards in place although there were tongs to use... The cashier behind the counter had plexiglass protecting them along with a pair of vinyl gloves for safety

The butcher has an ok selection, but they won't cut anything for you, so in my book it's not really much of a butcher, more of a glorified meat counter. Having said that, it's good to have good quality meat, fish, and cheese available at your local grocery store.
