It is a decent size Waitrose store but many things about it which I usually like about Waitrose seem to let it down, for example, the staff members seemed a little rude and to just get in the way especially when stacking shelves, it seemed like they had a rude and careless attitude which was a shame. The selection of drinks in the store which was the main purpose of my visit wasn't too great, with a poor selection of Iced teas, with the only one available being Fuzetea (they didn't even have the mango flavour either, just the peach one I don't like!) Like with all Waitrose there was the quick scan via your phone service "quick check", however, I couldn't find where to go at all to activate your shopping, the only part easy to find was the checkout for people using the service. With no barcode to scan in obvious sight or mini-handheld scanners which the service uses, this part of the store could definitely be better organised. The location isn't bad and it is nice to have a decent sized supermarket in this location, which was within walking distance of the Hilton London Euston in which I was regretfully staying during my time in London, but many parts of the store such as stock of certain items, organisation and staff members do let it down so it sadly does not justify anything over a two-star rating.

I tend to get lemons and make lemon tea in the morning. Waitrose had lemons, so I got three that lasted my entire stay. The baked goods section is excellent. I got croissants here. They were flaky, buttery, and yummy. I got some peanut brittle, too. It was so good. Butter tends to make anything taste better. I remember seeing self-checkouts here. I ended up wanting a human. The image is from a slight afternoon haul where I was craving some snacks. The GF bread had many nutritious seeds and came in handy throughout my stay. I have been missing the GF jam tarts and Bakewells every day and cannot wait to indulge once I return to the UK. It was so hard to believe that the baked goods were not only GF but were also milk free! The Waitrose was only 0.5 miles from my flat, and is also pretty close to the Fulham Broadway tube station. The store is big, spacious, and easy to navigate. I was able to find everything I was looking for, from produce to coffee mugs. Being new to the country, I wasn't familiar with a lot of the retail chains but I had heard that Waitrose might be a bit expensive. However, I found it was pretty easy to get reasonably priced items if you paid attention to reduced price items and/or Waitrose brand items; a lot of their basics are really affordable. There was a pretty good selection of produce, and a lot of teas and bakery items to choose from. My total purchase was about £23 for a bag of stuff that was pretty hard to carry home. Overall I was very satisfied with my trip and the prices. The biggest downside was that the queues were quite long, especially considering it was midday on a weekday, but there's not much to be done about that. Customer service was good, not as eagerly friendly as in the States, but an employee handed me a basket as I walked in and the cashier was efficient. The store accepts major credit cards, although (probably) because mine was foreign, I had to sign my receipt and hand over my card for inspection.
