This branch of Tesco stands out to me, as it is different in a good way, the design is actually modern, with cool scan it yourself machines, and even a plaque honoring that it first opened in 2015.
The store really stands out, as the design, despite traditional Tesco fridges and layout is much nicer, with a cooler, more modern color scheme used which really suits the new "Grand Central" it is built in, near enough between the crossover between Grand Central and The Bullring.
The range I noticed was good for a store of its-size and simply being more of a conviniance store, rather than more of a place to do more shopping than that, such as a weekly shop or the typical "Metro" stores found right in the city center, Tesco seem to open and operate.
The staff seemed OK, they didn't really stand out in particular, there are a lot of self-service machines in this store too, even the cool new design, which I think only accepts cards only, and I have only previously seen in London, which are popular at the Westminister branch for example.
They isn't really much to say about this store, apart from the design is really nice and it is a nice store to shop in while catching the train or arriving in Birmingham, as I was and deserves a solid 3 stars! read more
