Popular, and occasionally you will find a great sale on, they also have some nice outfits for men. Certainly take friends and family with you on your visit here. Whatever colours you prefer they sell. I like how they speak lots of languages, and it's more convenient for my mothers generation who knows that she trusts what they're saying about their garments when she can speak to them in her own language. I'd recommend visiting the store, car parking is available nearby, and the shop is served with bus routes regularly from the city and West Bromwich. Quite busy on the weekends though.

Despite the fact I have not brought anything from here, I have tried one or two sherwanis from Mairs. Just wearing them felt good and the only thing that prevented me from buying them was price. I did ask if they could reduce the price by a small amount but they couldn't. What I will say is that the staff here are very friendly and will help you if you need it. They will happily answer your questions and offer you advice. I did find some sherwanis had way too much embroidery but I guess there are Asians out there that like Indian suits with plenty of sequins/embroidery. If Mairs did lower their prices then maybe I would buy a sherwani from here. As well as Menswear, there are Asian Ladieswear on sale here as well.

From saris to god statues to kitchen utensils, these are some of the things you will find at Milans. Although there are some nice saris on sale, I'm not entirely sure whether future brides would buy saris from here. There are other shops on Soho Road that offer more in the way of bridal saris. And to be honest you will find better bridal saris elsewhere. Having said that the saris at Milans are good but not excellent and you might want to buy some saris from here anyway. That's just my view. I did like the god statues and I am into them. The majority are Hindu gods and they are well priced. I haven't actually brought any statues but I might just return here to do so. The shop is pretty clean as you would expect it to be and I may well come back to Milans in the near future.

They sell a good and varied selection of Asian clothing in here, and is the ideal visit if your shopping on Soho Rd. Everyone knows about this place and they have decent and reasonable prices. Over the years my family, especially my mother, have spent a small fortune in here buying Saree's and accessories that come in the most delightful of colours and fashions. It's nice how they've branched out to also include shawls, kitchenware, fashion accessories such as bindis, and items that you may need for religious worship. Overall a delightful store. Good prices, and they'll be surely missed if they were to ever leave.

The saris here are pretty decent and my family have been here on several occasions. My mother in particular enjoys coming here and has brought a couple of dresses for upcoming weddings. Not that my dad has been pleased about it since he has ended up paying for them. There are also Mens sherwanis on sale so there is something for Men and they are not waiting for their partners to come out of the store. No offence women but you do spend way to long in shops. I know exactly how Men feel when it comes to waiting for women to finish in shops. I would come back here for sure and prices are not bad although there are one or two items that are expensive. A decent shop to go to in my view if you are looking for something to wear at a wedding.

The exterior looks like a high-end boutique with gorgeous window displays. However, the same appeal is lacking inside. There are many staff members who tend to shadow you as you browse, which I personally find quite frustrating but I suppose they're attempting to give a personal shopping experience. The designs are quite exuberant and extreme for my taste, but if that is what you're into then it's worth a visit. They're far from reasonably priced with outfits at around £400, although this is about average in the local area. They stock a limited range of jewellery also. There is a pay and display car park next to the boutique, which has a corner location so it's hard to miss.

Sai Dutta Sarees is a fusion of elaborate to simple designs at a range of prices. I was looking to buy a print sari that imitated a Satya Paul (Indian designer) design without breaking the bank balance. I wasn't expecting to find such a beautiful print in quality fabric at just £30! However, all the sarees do not necessarily come with a blouse or already-stitched "fall". Although they do have a large selection here, including satin, cotton and synthetic readymade petticoats. I brought my friend along who is well-endowed so finds it difficult to get a blouse that fits well. She was thrilled to find it here and it was under £10! The owner is very helpful and she has a tailor who stitches blouses and attaches fall to sarees.

The service at this shop was absolutely disgusting. Yesterday my mother and I went to look for a…read moreready made blouse that would match a sari we already had. At first the owner appeared helpful but was extremely condescending in her tone. She picked out one blouse and when we asked her whether we could let my mother try on another she was extremely reluctant. She insisted that my mother tries the arm of the blouse on and not the whole garment. After much insistence on my part, she finally gave in and rudely directed my mother to the fitting room. Once my mother was satisfied that the fitting was not appropriate, we gave the blouse back to the owner and were about to make our exit. My mother then merely pointed at another rack of blouses when the owner rudely told my mother to "not poke her nose over there" and asked us to move away from the clothes! I've never heard of a shop keeper asking customers to NOT look at what they had to sell! As we were leaving, I felt that I had to let the owner know politely that she had been exceptionally rude to us from the minute we entered her shop, initially watching us like a hawk and then speaking to my mother as if my mother was an uneducated fool. Once I'd told the owner she had been rude and she should treat us a bit better since we are the consumers, she immediately started shouting at myself and my mother saying that we were the rude ones and "making more work" for her by touching her blouses!!! She also yelled that we do not speak english (which was highly inappropriate since we were politely giving her feedback) and that my mother shouldn't be poking her nose into places where she shouldn't be! How disgustingly rude. Eventually she screamed at us to get out! I can happily say that we shall never be setting foot into Sai Datta sarees ever again. We have been told by several family friends that they have had similar experiences at the shop. Some have said that she only likes those people who buy things from her shop. Personally, I felt the need to warn all other consumers out there to stay away from such a poorly serviced establishment. Poorly serviced isn't even the appropriate phrase, the owner has never been taught manners in her entire life. If only I could give zero stars.
