Where do I start? Their ice cream is almost always thawed and re frozen, it's absolutely gross…read more It smells like rotten fish half the time. If the seafood is good it isn't suppose to be potent, something the store manager of this location should pay attention to The previously frozen bakery items that need a store applied sell by sticker are usually expired or the sell by is cut off so you can't see the month, only the day. A lot of produce is either rotten or expired so I guess no one that works in that department knows how to rotate ( which also applies to the bakery) There's a lot more I can say but at least the donuts are good? The fresh made bread is good too when it isn't expired and the staff is friendly, obviously. Anyone that works retail knows faking politeness is a survival skill. In summary I can see why price chopper is going out of business. They need to raise their base pay and hire more people or else they'll go out of business in a few years.

Went to get a fish dinner on 11/3/23 at 5:15 pm. Was told they weren't doing anymore fried dinners…read moretonight. I don't understand on a Friday evening that they aren't doing fish dinners. Had gone earlier in the day to get the beef roast on sale for $3.99 per pound. No sign was up for them and no beef roasts out. Found a person who works in meat dept and he went and cut us two. This isn't the first time experiencing not having out what they advertise. Very frustrating and disappointing!!! pk

The food was incredibly fresh tasting and we got everything photographed (plus 2 drinks) for $36! We ended up buying some containers of the macaroni and potato salad for home. We ended lunch by shopping around the store and were impressed with all their goodies. We can't wait to come back when more local produce is in season. Everyone was very friendly, the building is clean and well maintained

Saunders is a big grocery store run by the menonites. Specialties would be their jams and pickles- I have fun just looking at the names of them. Their candy selection is also good, especially if you like gummy candies. I can also find some unique sodas such as white birch beer, sassafras soda, and cheerwine to name a few. There is a little gift shop/religious books section near the front, which can be nice to browse through. Saunders sells outdoor furniture and decor, and there is a furniture store proper attached. I've been especially tempted by their swiveling and gliding rocking chairs. I've had some good food at the cafe, the Reuben in particular being super tasty. You do have to enter the cafe through the store and park your cart before you go into the cafe. You order at the counter and then the staff gives you a number and will bring you your meal. Car parking is ample here but there are speed bumps, so watch it! I haven't noticed any bike racks, so cyclists likely need to get creative. The store is closed on Sundays and can be busy with campers during the summer months.

Sauders - Store has so much. Prices tho here have definitely gone way up. Regardless, still a nice store, run by amazing people

A few must get items- frozen pasta, coffee, ice cream treats, croissants, candy-especially chocolate. Don't forget a quarter for a cart and bring your own bags- they charge for paper. Produce can be hit or miss and I am not a big fan of buying higher end meat and seafood from a store without a butcher case. Overall an economical place to find new and old favorites to add to our rotation.
