Where do I start? Their ice cream is almost always thawed and re frozen, it's absolutely gross. It smells like rotten fish half the time. If the seafood is good it isn't suppose to be potent, something the store manager of this location should pay attention to The previously frozen bakery items that need a store applied sell by sticker are usually expired or the sell by is cut off so you can't see the month, only the day. A lot of produce is either rotten or expired so I guess no one that works in that department knows how to rotate ( which also applies to the bakery) There's a lot more I can say but at least the donuts are good? The fresh made bread is good too when it isn't expired and the staff is friendly, obviously. Anyone that works retail knows faking politeness is a survival skill. In summary I can see why price chopper is going out of business. They need to raise their base pay and hire more people or else they'll go out of business in a few years. read more

Went to get a fish dinner on 11/3/23 at 5:15 pm. Was told they weren't doing anymore fried dinners tonight. I don't understand on a Friday evening that they aren't doing fish dinners. Had gone earlier in the day to get the beef roast on sale for $3.99 per pound. No sign was up for them and no beef roasts out. Found a person who works in meat dept and he went and cut us two. This isn't the first time experiencing not having out what they advertise. Very frustrating and disappointing!!! pk read more

The staff are usually friendly and helpful. One cashier seems to have an issue with my using coupons. I tried to explain to her that being on a fixed income, the coupons help me be able to stretch what little food stamps I get so I have enough until the end of the month. When I was though cashing out and went to pay, I was charged for the cheap, poorly made paper bags. It was my understanding that when you use SNAP benefits you are not suppose to be charged for the paper bags. She called anther girl over who stated that it was up to the stores and they chose to charge everyone. read more

Price chopper in Fulton used to be my favorite. The cost has skyrocketed compared to other stores and the produce has been terrible, moldy fruit and half rotted veggies. Not only that but I ordered a cake for my sons birthday and the bakery worker from the start rushed me and acted very annoyed that I was ordering a cake. When we picked it up it was terrible and messy and not the colors i asked for. It was $10 more expensive than Walmart and they offered more and did a WAY better job. Walmart for the win on cakes. So please don't waste your time on getting a cake from price chopper in Fulton! read more

This is the only supermarket left in Fulton... They do have fabulous hours, a friendly staff, and a wdie variety of products (including fresh baked goods, decent produce, good meat and a full deli). They double coupons and have good deals with their loyalty card. read more

I could say I am a sale shopper. If it isn't on sale, I either don't buy or don't shop or go elsewhere. Over the past couple years, I find that there are more PICS items in place of my favorite brands. They aren't cheaper and the quality isn't as good. I just won't buy. I find myself shopping elsewhere more often. When I shop for meats, I usually can't find the sale item or the sale price isn't marked. I can seldom find a sales associate. I simply won't buy. Quality isn't what it was in the past either. Your hamburger has no flavor compared to 20 years ago. I find myself spending more at Aldi and less at Price Chopper. Prices keep going up as well. Aldis do too. PEOPLE NOTICE. Don't compare your prices to Walmart. Their nationwide pricing is even higher in a place like Fulton. Produce is about twice the price elsewhere. I'm lucky if I have one coupon per week. I get your fish on Fridays. The fish is small but expected for the price. My issue is with the french fries. You use your own brand I was told. They are presalted and inedible for someone on salt restricted diet. I throw them out. I complained. No change. Why not use unsalted and let people add their own. I stopped buying and went elsewhere. Even smaller unsalted portions would be preferable. I could go on and on but I'll let my money, or lack there of speak for me. read more

i have been shopping at this store in fulton since 2009. i spend 100 - 250 $$ weekly or 500- 650$$ a month there. lately i have been very upset with what's going on there. products past expiration date, molded cheese and / or bread. .juices with plastic tops / caps opened and some of the contents missing. packaged meats, cheese, yogurt, milk and etc. outdated / spoiled. fresh fruit berries molded. frozen fruit or veggies molded or deteriorated. excessive waiting in line because customers have 50-100 coupons, while my frozen products are thawing. 25-30 min waits they should have separate coupon aisles for these freaks or close the aisle temporarily. i have reported these product disgusting findings to the checkout people with responses like." oh well", or "stuff happens" or "i'm sorry". not i will report this to management or i will let someone be aware of this. i will shop at others stores in fulton or at the route 31 mall. i'm through paying price choppers high prices for junk, as well as inattentive clerks. buyer beware. henry read more
