To be honest even seeing Auchterarder on a sign post can have me salivating. I really am that suggestible! So when we were heading towards Auchterarder at tea time it seemed like the Gods of overeating were smiling on us. 2 fish suppers and one mini fish supper later the car smelt awesome, it had gone very quiet, fingers were greasy and all was right with the world. The chips were perfection, proper chippy chips. Unfortunately, the batter on the fish wasn't quite crispy enough, another couple of minutes in the fryer and the batter would have done justice to the fresh, meaty fish within. That said we managed to finish everything and ensured that the next trip up north comes with the requisite craving.

It is decorated in red and white tiling and looks very clean and fresh. The fish suppers in Andy's in my opinion are the best in the area (and there are quite a few around). Fish is fluffy and fresh with nice crispy batter and the chips are perfect. They also do a great range of fantastic oven baked pizzas. If you phone ahead they will have one ready and waiting for you to pick up. Prices are reasonable, especially in the sit-in which doesn't cost much more than the takeaway.
