    Pastrami Combo
    Tyler K.

The best pastrami sandwich I have ever had in my whole life! Not even overreacting as soon as you take a bite to the hot steamy pastrami, you can taste all the flavors of pepper, garlic cumin. The bread was perfectly fresh with the perfect amount of mustard and pickles on top. Also, I ordered onion rings instead of french fries as soon as I opened up the box of onion rings there was literally steam coming out fresh and hot to touch not to mention the combo comes with a side of ranch, which is very butter milky, and you can tell they make it in house. Wow I am definitely gonna be back here. I was not expecting such high-quality from a little small burger joints I even called and spoke to the manager who is also the chef and he told me that he makes the brine for the pastrami in house and that's actually one of his favorite items on the menu. I really appreciate the great customer service to the drive-through and also the great customer service from the manager on the phone. I definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to come back to try much more of their menu, thank you Terry's Café for an amazing lunch. I truly appreciate it.

    BLT Sandwich Combo with eggs

This was my first time coming here since I haven't tried this place before and my boyfriend second or third time coming here. My boyfriend showed me this place. Today, I went here with my boyfriend and we got the BLT combo. The BLT combo consist of lettuce, bacon, avocado, tomato, and eggs. The combo would have fries on the side along with the drink. We got the drink and sub for only sandwiches. The sandwich was soft, crunchy, and the inside were smooth, delicious, and great flavor. The service was fast & employees are very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is limited parking. I would definitely come back here if I want a good breakfast.

Biscuits and gravy. 2 biscuits cut in half and loaded with gravy. They were very soft and the gravy was seasoned well.

I had driven by this spot many times but finally came in to eat when I was in the area. I had biscuits and gravy which was a huge portion for a good deal, under $9. My kids had the rib dinner ($19) and the waffle combo with strawberry topping ($16). For drinks we had OJ which was fresh squeezed but at $9 it was kind of steep lol. Very delicious nonetheless but I wouldn't pay that again. The coffee was your average cup of joe! I had some of everything (dad life) and it was all so good and a hefty serving. The cashiers and waitress were very welcoming and attentive. This is a classic type of diner vibe with customers in and out the whole time we were there. I definitely want to stop by to try other items.

We waited for about 20 minutes but my bf loved the steak burrito here. Him and his family have always can here. Wouldn't say it's the best ever but definitely a good place to order. We also have the pancakes and sausage and the sausage were good and the so were the pancakes

I've been coming here since it was originally named Alberto's...The outside seating has not changed. It's still the same round table bench with the red umbrella. Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

Best Tortas in the Cypress/West GG area, hands down!…read more I was feeling for some good Mexican, and I remembered the good Birria we had here some time back. This time I went a different direction though and picked up one of their Torta options - the Cubana. Fresh homemade bread with all of the fixings one would expect in a Cuban inspired Torta - quite large as well! The fam got Super Burritos, some with chicken and one with Al pastor. They had nothing but good to say - my son noting that it was really fresh tasting. The service was friendly and knowledgable, and they had our somewhat large order out in really good time. While you wait there's some arcade machines set to free play, a salsa bar with plenty of options, including roasted jalapeños. The place is clean with plenty of seating, and if I wasn't in a rush I'd have probably eaten there nust to get a few more rounds of Marvel v Capcom 2 in. ;)

They tack on extra charges not listed on the menu. Ordered 3 tacos and paid $19 something (handed him $20 and got some coin change). It was 2 carnitas tacos (listed for ~$4.40 each), plus an El Jefe taco (~$6.75). When he said $19 something it sounded high, I questioned it and he said that's what it is. I didn't want to argue further. I calculated it afterward and this was overpaying by $2 something. The amount is not a big deal, but I don't like being stolen from. So I'm writing this, so that others may avoid the same annoying experience. I was hoping the tacos would be really good and justifies it. But they weren't. The El Jefe one wasn't even as described. He said there would be cheese but there wasn't. The guac tasted old. And the whole plate was incredibly oily. The carnitas ones were less oily but not very flavorful either, and there were chunks of fat. Never again. Also the place was just gross. They used the same ladle for all the sauces, so it was all cross contaminated. The bathroom looked like a mess and had graffiti everywhere too.

I felt the tortilla and cheese cooled down too quickly m causing them to be on the harder side, like an uncooked tortilla from a package. The churro was the highlight of the meal.
