The receptionist is positively fabulous. She has a positive attitude, always greets me with a smile, and is a whiz with insurance processing. Dr. Kassis is an excellent dentist--she is frank and understanding. She is genuinely concerned about her patients' well being and is very professional. I found that Dr. Kassis and her team of dental assistants and hygienists to be knowledgeable, understanding, and gentle with all those annoying poking tools. I did not feel rushed; if I needed a break to rest my mouth they were happy to accommodate. What's really great about the staff at Dr. Kassis' office is they always know who you are and make you feel welcome. Plus I always leave with free floss, mini toothpaste, and a toothbrush--who doesn't love free stuff!

In addition to outstanding basic dental care, I've had wonderful work done to replace missing teeth. A bridge Dr. Carys designed a few years ago is holding strong, and a recent dental implant (done by Dr. Carys in coordination with Argyle and Associates) is indistinguishable from my natural teeth. A big thank you to Dr. Carys for refusing to settle for "good enough" and recommending a custom colour appointment to get the crown colour exactly right. This team is also extremely attentive to COVID-19 protocols. I've felt very safe and protected at every visit.

It seems that the cost of dentistry has gone up. Good thing it's regulated! This dentistry is located in an old converted house on the main drag in Carp, and nearly directly across from the Carp Fair Grounds. Next door to one side is an ice cream shop and the other side is an excellent bakery (Alice's); there is nothing like community support!! LOL! But seriously, who loves going to the dentist? I do not. Like most people I am adverse to pain, especially when it is inflicted upon me, and in particular in the area of my mouth. I was not looking forward to this visit! However, I needed a good cleaning, and I have to admit even to myself, that this was a breeze! It was so relaxing that I could have fallen asleep in the patient's chair! This dental hygienist was excellent! I only wish I had caught her name, as this was the first time she had cleaned my teeth. Dr. Pardan and his wife and dental partner, Dr. Alexander, both have done a lot of work on my teeth, such as rebuilding a broken tooth, and pulling another one which had been causing me problems. I have been well taken care of by this team. (Note: Dr. Alexander has been away raising the children over the last few years.) They operate a clean and modern facilty. This event was so good that I just had to say something positive here.

I'll start with a little info about me, I hate going to the dentist and avoided going at all costs, in fact I hadn't been in over 7 years, continually putting it off for fear of being judged! I guess you could call me a dental delinquent! Thanks to some not so gentle encouragement from my fiancee I finally agreed to go to her dentist after she explained how non-judgy they are here and she was 100% correct! I have seen both Dr. Bhargava and Dr. Telang here and they are both incredibly friendly (and non-judgmental) about your teeth! Dr. Telang explained in great detail all of the stats she was discussing with the hygenist as well as explaining in easy terms what you need to do. The hygenists here are also very friendly and gentle, despite needing to use many of the little hooks I had very little discomfort or pain! One final bonus is that they will deal directly with insurance if you have it, eliminating the hassle of having to deal with insurance companies yourself!

Other dentists have been a disaster. Dr. Walters had solutions to all of my problems and the training and technology to make it happen. When I needed to get cavities replaced he knew to shrink the nerve first before putting on a permanent filling. My previous dentist did not and I ended up with a root canal. Dr Walters had a simple modern appliance for my teeth grinding, my previous dentists wanted to sell me a complicated 'old' style appliance.
