I really needed Indian food ingredients and ordering online is just not nearly as fun. So I went. Couple points I will agree with~ - some of the items are "expired" and some - not majority-- of the produce items were likely not something I'd get unless I was cooking today. With all that being said you'll see I still chose 5 stars and here's why. - everything I needed to make 3 Indian recipes they had. And it was all within date range by a year plus. One item (aamchur) I had to check a few different bags to get one that was definitely within date but it was there! The prices were fantastic. I couldn't find one ingredient- Asafoetida powder- so at checkout I asked if by chance they did have it. The woman behind the counter was extremely accommodating. She looked for me, acknowledged there was a block version but she didn't think it was exactly right for me and told me she'd request it on the next order and told me to come back 3 days later and they'd have it. I loved that. I would highly recommend goIng. They have other varieties besides strictly Indian cuisine ingredients and if they are out of something they're willing to get it in quick.

I was just driving by, and I saw this big local grocery store with the word "INTERNATIONAL," so I…read morejust had to go check it out. I was greeted by a friendly lady and man at the door. Produce: limited, shriveled, old; seemed like they got produce that were going bad from other grocery stores; disappointing. Each aisle had an assortment of ethnic items. There were a lot of middle eastern products, as well as, some Asian products. I didn't know what a lot of things were. However, I think it you're going to cook an ethnic meal, you'll probably find something you need here. Refrigerated Section: the most random things were in here. there was one big container of coffee-mate, two cartons of eggs, some beverages.....I honestly wouldn't trust buying anything from the refrigerated section They had frozen chicken with the skin on in cardboard boxes.... They also have a "fresh meat" section, but it wasn't set up yet. On the left side when you walk in, there are 3 aisles filled with an assortment of household items, cleaning supplies, DVDs, and silverware. The store has a feel of a run-down Asian market. I asked the lady at the register if they are new, and she said, "Yes. We opened 2 weeks ago." It's always cool to check out new businesses that open around the neighborhood.

The store itself is very spacious and it's always a fun experience checking out all the different aisles. They have an in-house restaurant as well which is called "Masala Memories" and although it has a limited menu but all the stuff on it is great and very well-priced. Personally, I go to Spresh every couple of weeks because I use a lot of Indian spices in my cooking but I would definitely recommend checking it out for some interesting Indian snacks that you can't find in the other grocery stores.

Between the different kinds of ramen and noodles, to some cool spices, and the desserts, this is a great spot to try something new. The two running the store were very nice and helpful as I was looking around. I ended up getting a couple of noodle bowls and a pack of coconut cookies. The employees are friendly, the store is cleaned, and I really appreciate that the prices are not only appropriately priced but that all prices are accurate. They also have a whole variety of the Arabic groceries I am familiar with, but also other grocery items which would find in other stores. For example, we purchased eggs cheaper than they are at Aldis. We also picked up some sodas and drinks which I used to drink in my youth, a few different coffees, foods, and snacks. They also have a butcher in the back of the store, and also an abundant Arabic perfume and incense section.

These meatless ham logs sometimes have egg whites and ever since the Asia Grocery on Niagara Falls Boulevard stopped carrying them, I've been contemplating ordering some online. The phrase "______'s best kept secret" is thrown around quite a bit on Yelp. I want to be clear…read morethat it has taken me this long to write a review because, quite literally, I wanted to keep this place secret. If you like Asian food this place is amazing. If you want to try something new this place is perfect. If you cook for a vegetarian or a vegan this place has as many options as the co-op. I go to this store at least once a week and usually twice. If you are looking to pick up general staples this isn't the place you want to stop. If you're looking to find new staples to have on hand for quick dinners you should absolutely go here. Every week I pick up jackfruit, produce for curry, pre fried tofu, a pack of five Bahn Bao (translates to big bun filled with awesome things), and as many Boba Tea as I think I have room for in the freezer. It's outward appearance is very deceiving. It looks like a neglected bodega on the outskirts of Brooklyn. If you go inside you will NOT be disappointed.

Among our food was soup, salad, a wrap and chicken fingers. There was a selection of sides to get with your good including at least three different kinds of fries. I had French onion soup and chicken super salad. The French onion soup had WAY too much bread in it; it seemed like two whole slices in a cup sized soup. That sadly sucked up a lot of my soup and I'm not a fan of soggy bread, so I scooped it out and set it aside. The soup I did get to eat had a good flavor and was not too salty. Now that I know how it comes, I'd order it without bread added. My salad was a good size and was made of fresh mixed greens with a nicely grilled, & warm, sliced chicken breast.
