This review is strictly about the Car Wash...everyone at this location has been amazing - I have been getting my car washed here since pre-COVID when it was interior and exterior...and man do I miss the interior wash! I had the monthly membership and then when it came to COVID when the interior side of it stopped. There were no issues getting my membership downgraded to exterior wash only, and good because it's all they were offering. Rebecca Jasso from the main office has been so helpful with everything including adding my second vehicle to a membership. The supervisors at this location have always been so friendly and helpful. I hope they are able to stick around since most locations are strictly automatic. I go to this location once in a while to get my car washed. I am not one of the customers that have unlimited wash so I can't comment on the service when people go so many times in a month and complain about the service not being the same. I would like to say the couple of times that I've been here, they are all super nice and they are working hard to do the things we might not be a fan of doing (ahem cleaning and vacuuming our car, especially in the hot summers). So I tell everyone who gives a bad review or complaints ... if you want your car cleaned a certain way, clean it yourself in this 110 hot weather. If you want to have your car washed, friendly people, and good service ... go to this car wash, get it clean, be kind, and tip well. Note: I did deduct a star because when you pull in, it's very hard to see the prices and the services they have for each wash. I literally had to ask her what's the difference between each one because the font is small. This place went downhill after new management. Their restroom doors can't close well and they haven't done anything about it. The cigarettes I want are rarely there anymore it's like they don't order anything because their tobacco shelves always look empty. Sometimes there's a long line and the manager never bothers to help her employee. The only good thing about this place are the familiar employees in the afternoon and night time. The sad part is the older lady in the afternoon has to work a busy store by herself now. If you want the items you need.. I suggest going to other gas stations. read more

Rouge cashier. Wanted me to give him an amount to put on my credit card. I've never done that. I refused. He would not let me keep the tab open. He said it's "preferred" to give a dollar amount. Guess what? I left my free soda behind. It's preferred that I find another gas station without rouge employees. It's 3/26/24 at 1:32 pm. It's my preference that your rouge employee gets replaced with one who doesn't make up arbitrary cr@$. I went to the pump and kept an open tab and got a car wash. I'll do that in the future and show the receipt inside for the free drink. These are all reasons for robots. Robots don't do rouge. This is one of the two locations we bring our cars for their 'unlimited' car wash. We have always received excellent service. Ashley is excellent. She always greets you with a smile and a pleasant attitude. You are able to remain in your car through the car wash, so that is nice. This location is kind of fun as there are colorful flashing lights inside of the car wash. Silly, but like I said...kind of fun. Immediately after the wash, someone is ready to direct you where to park while they dry and vacuum your car. They use the air hose to blow out water in hard to reach places, so this prevents drips after you drive away. Next time I will ask that they put the tire dressing on BEFORE they start to dry the rest of the car. It is normally done at the end, and it is still wet when we drive away. It is then splattered along the side of the car. However, it is easily wiped off. I do not like how the car wash employees are stuck out in the bright sun with no shading to protect them. They must endure the harsh sun and heat throughout the day. I was told that Terrible's had ordered awnings 2 years ago, but they have not yet arrived. Ridiculous. Instead, they get to wear baseball hats. This is the one thing that bothers me about this location. The treatment of their employees. That said, everyone who works outside is extremely polite and good at their job. read more

Worst interior car wash I've ever paid for. Paid for the most expensive wash (30$), outside looks okay, but inside was barely cleaned. Still dusty, left a ton of garbage, worst vacuum job I've ever seen. Guy was proud he did it in 5 min, handed me the key and walked away before I could say anything. At this point, I wanted to explain the issues to him, but I'd be wasting my time lecturing a teenager that wouldn't care, and I was having a really good day. Next logical step is to ask the manager to have someone else clean it, but he was busy yelling at another customer because an employee broke his key fob, and the customer called the cops. So I decided to head home, get a new car wash tomorrow from a more reputable place, and cut my losses. By the way, this is my second time here, neither was a great experience, especially this one. I purchased the monthly car wash and have now been here twice. The first time I left a little disappointed, there were smudge marks all over my windows that I didn't catch til I had already left. The second time I came, I made sure to let them know to clean the inside of the Windows. This time around, they did a better job. The one thing I noticed both times is, there's this male employee that seriously doesn't look like he works. I went to this car wash because it was super close to my house and the reviews were great. I was willing to spend the money and splurge on a tip because my car needed a good bath. To my surprise, I was extremely disappointed. Here is why.... The exterior wash was great but a black mark was left uncleared on left rear panel. The worse was the interior.... The trunk was left un vacuumed. There was dust still left under door handles, cup holder, and on top of right side of dash. I paid for the most expensive wash and come to find the interior was not even cleaned for what I paid for. I even gave the guy a tip on top of the cost. I have gone elsewhere for less with a better job than what they did today. I don't think I'll be back unless I decide to clean my own interior. I started coming here about a year ago. The car washes were always great and I never had any issues. The last time I came here in December, they could have done a better job vacuuming and the steering wheel area was not dusted. I let it go, everyone has bad days. However, when I returned yesterday and paid $31 for the Gold Mine wash, I am extremely disappointed. My routine is to get my car wash and then head next door to the nail salon. Unfortunately, I did not notice the issues until I had gotten out of the nail salon and by that time the car wash was closed. The windshield was not wiped down at all; the entire dash board was not dusted and the tires left much to be desired. I have also contacted corporate and am looking forward to a response to mediate this situation. If you still choose to get your car wash here, I'd highly recommend examining the car before taking off. Update: I reached out via Corporate and Asst. Manager Daniel responded within a few hours. I went in yesterday to have it redone and they did a great job round two and apologized for the inconvenience. read more

They need to work on better cleaning of the interior of a car. If the customer needs to point out the obvious stains, dust, hair etc, then we have a problem. Customers should never have to tell you how to do your job. I guess you get what you pay for. I did have the young man redo the areas but we just weren't on the same page. Hopefully they can hire more detail oriented employees who can still continue to be efficient. read more

Terrible Herbst has several car wash options and three unlimited plans (which are billed every month). The first plan is $19.99, the second is $29.99, and the third is $49.99. I personally get the $29.99 because the first plan doesn't include interior vacuum, and I'm just too broke to afford the $49.99 tbh. I love the fact that they offer these plans because it's so dusty where I live, so being able to come here as many times as I'd like is a BIG win, and the reason I decided to come here to begin with. If you don't decide to buy a plan (which you really should), they offer a deal where you can buy ten car washes, you get the 11th free! I believe they offer a discount on gas the same day of purchase if you just get a single car wash as well, but not too sure on those details. The customer service here is ALWAYS amazing. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. I had never been to a car wash before, and my first time was a bit awkward, I literally had no idea what to do, and they helped guide me and answered all my questions without making me feel dumb. They usually do a good job with drying off the car and the interior details, but sometimes they don't do the best which is why I took a star away. The car wash also has a unique light show as you're going through the wash! It's really neat and if you have kids, I'm sure they'd enjoy and freak out about it as much as I did. Overall, I enjoy this gas station and their car wash very much! If you are planning on getting your car vacuumed, I'd suggest having $2-3 on hand to tip the person who's doing it! One of my favorite places to get a car wash here in town. There's really not much good car wash places here in town, unfortunately, but for budget prices it's hard to beat Terrible Herbst Car Wash in Southern Highlands. I went and received their high-end car wash, which was about $31. You go through an automatic wash, but not before they scrub down your grill and wheels. Afterwards, your car goes through an automatic dryer and depending on what service you get, your vehicle gets cleaned (exterior and/or interior) by one of the many friendly staff-members. They took quite some time, about 25 minutes, to get my car "quick-detailed". But that's alright -- I don't think car washes should ever be rushed, especially if you're expecting things nice and tidy. When he was finished, I inspected my vehicle and I would say I was about 90% satisfied. The front and driver's side window had a few dirt marks that I eventually wiped off, although they should've taken care of this. Also, the rear view mirror still had liquid on it, and they didn't place the complimentary air freshener for me. Service-wise, I guess I could've given three stars. But I bumped up to four because it's a very affordable price and their top wash comes with a 5-day guarantee: bring it back within 5-days and they'll wash the car again, free of charge. This is an awesome guarantee to have, especially around now when the weather is unpredictable. No paperwork to show if you want to take advantage of this, as they registered your plate number upon entry. I'll come back again, for sure. I would say this is an ideal car wash to goto for your "in-between" washes. But don't expect your car to be fully detailed. read more

This place gets really good buisness. Everytime I drive by they are always busy and I notice there's a lot of nice cars getting serviced as well so I thought I'd give it a try. I signed up for a monthly membership which is unlimited washes and full service. I've been here five times now and my car is never spotless. Having a black car you can notice everything. I can still see the product they use and the streaks left behind. They tell me my car's ready, I'm in my car and they are still whiping it. I wish they would just take their time. When I'm home I just take a wet and dry towel to tidy up and my car looks brand new. The price is excellent, two minutes from my house and such an fast process. read more

I've had my car washed several times here. The first time there was a line left down the back of my truck that I pointed out to the guy, who proceeded to tell me it needed to be buffed out of the paint. When I got home I got it wiped off with a little elbow grease and a soft rag. The second time was excellent. Everything was clean and polished. Third time the outside was great, but the inside was spotty with some areas clearly missed. Today was great again, and the guy asked me to take a look to see if it was all to my satisfaction. Which it was. Today's experience was great and I hope they keep the quality consistent. My husband and I have two cars we bring to this establishment, almost daily, we both have the monthly pass that we pay for every month. It was a Sunday when I came in at 8:40 expecting this place to be open, come to find out it was open at 9 am , I decided to wait in the already formed line . I was the 3rd car in line, I saw the line began to grow to about 10 cars behind me. Yes! Finally it was 9 am , as I pulled forward I had seen there was two lines so I decided to get in the line I was sure about the one I always go through. It turns out every single car behind me went through the other lane and skipped me. All that waiting for nothing. I addressed the girl in the front checking me in about this problem. Her response was " oh , I hate that lane too" I was so furious my time was invaluable and so disposable to this establishment. Basic costumer service skills was not in play here. I was so upset that they were ok with the whole line skipping ahead of me it was very disheartening. I decided to talk to a manager ( Daniel ) his response too was " oh I hate that lane " my husband and I in frustration, the fact that we tip well, we come here almost everyday, we make our monthly payments for both cars and that's the best answer they could have given us. Now we are in the works for looking for a different establishment. We want to feel good about where our money goes that we got the best value and service we could have gotten. I have been a customer at this car wash for multiple years now I've easily gotten over 50 car wash is here I drive a truck with a ladder rack and for some reason today the day I decide to get a car wash they denied me a car wash because the ladder rack i've been at this location multiple times I just do not understand why this is the one time that they do not let me get a car wash after being a customer for so long looks like I'm just gonna have to find another trust trustee car wash place obviously design ladder racks to be washed if you have a truck with a ladder rack I do not recommend this place read more

I was excited to see this opened up as I'm a fan of Terrible's carwashes. I stopped by on my way home from work and was in and out in about 15 minutes total. The attendant asked me if there was anything in particular I needed him to focus on, which I've never been asked before and was glad he did. They weren't super busy when I went so I had 3 people vacuuming, drying and wiping down my car all at once. When my car was done, the same attendant asked me if he had addressed everything I needed. I didn't catch his name but will be sure to do so next time. Super positive and polite guy.
