Today my truck in after taking it off roading in the mud. José worked hard to get almost all the mud off, which was not an easy task. I've been coming here on and off for a 15 years. They're always fast and friendly, nice waiting room and they don't try to pressure sell you filters you don't need. But last Tuesday they went above and beyond. Rolling down Pecos it sounded like either a raccoon had gotten under the hood of my car or the radiator was exploding. Slowly. I put it in neutral and legit prayed I'd make it to Wigwam. I did. The three gentlemen working had me pull into the bay and went to work seeing wtf had happened. It was something small and they fixed it quickly and were so friendly and funny it almost seemed funny. They had such great attitudes I will definitely be coming back on the regular for the service. read more

DO NOT EVER EVER EVER COME TO THIS CARWASH EVER! This past weekend, WHILE WE WERE INSIDE THE CARWASH, my husband and I were involved in a car accident when the woman behind us hit the back of our vehicle causing significant damage to our bumper, which now needs to be entirely replaced. Since this review isn't about the woman who hit us, I can't say much other than she refused to exchange information with us because she claims it wasn't her fault, but was the negligence of the carwash attendant who told her to enter the wash too soon, causing her to hit us. She still should have provided her information as she was involved in the accident, but what could we do since she refused? Anyway... We spoke with the on-duty manager who refused to give us information about the incident. We were trying to find out who was negligent. Did the woman hit us by not putting her car in neutral? Or was it the attendant for not paying attention and having her enter the wash too soon? We had a right to know what happened, but the manager would not tell us. His only solution was to allow us to file a "complaint". Completely unacceptable. Their unprofessionalism in how they handled this situation is unreal. And now we have the headache of trying to figure out how our bumper is going to be replaced since we are in no financial position to now fix this. We will honestly never ever go to a Terrible Herbst carwash or gas station ever again after the way they treated us and refused to help us with this unfortunate situation. read more

I spoke with the "manager" he said that their machine would never do that. (Yeah right!) He gave me a bogus number to call, but the person is always out of reach. They feel most people are dum dum. I am not going to be shocked if I am not the first person that this happened. They are lucky that my car was not fully damage because I would sue them. I don't care if its small claims court. I called my insurance and between my deductible vs suing them its not worth it. I've been coming here for years and I don't know why I have never given them their well deserved stars. First off, the vacuum cleaners are free which is great. The people at the window are great and when you get the best car wash they give you a 5 day guarantee. So if it rains within the 5 days you can go and get your car washed for free. The best also comes with a towel, air freshener and a cup that you can fill with soda inside the convince store part. My only issues are when the guys scrub your car down. Sometimes they just start scrubbing then press the button to send your car through and sometimes they take longer to scrub your car before pressing the button. It always makes me wonder if they are doing a good job when they press it fast. My other issue is when they get busy they stack the cars close together. That's fine when it's busy. But when it's slower I wish they would space the cars out more because then your car is going through the blower, the back end of it doesn't get dried off. The mechanism that that moves your car along lets you go while your car is a little more than half way through the blower and you can't pause for a second because if they stack the cars close you gotta get out of the way or else get hit by the care behind you. These things are minor and I still love taking my car there and always will. read more

After awful service at many of the valley Jiffy Lube's I was looking for a new place to get my oil changed. Since I was here for a car wash I went ahead and went over to the oil change side. I know because my truck uses synthetic the price is always higher, but their prices are ridiculous. $85 and you don't even vacuum the floor? Then they have you download their app where they don't offer any discounts either. Seems to me for $85 you could offer me a free big gulp while I wait. I won't be back here for an oil change. The only good things: the staff is nice, and they give you a free car wash with it - wish I would have known that part since I went through the wash before going to the oil change side. You should have NEVER sold off the oil change part of your business. Almost double the cost now and the process is terrible! Driving around the back and staying in your car is stupid!! Extremely disappointed in the transition to Valvoline the ONLY reason I'm even giving two stars is the new guys are very nice it's not their fault Terribles SOLD OUT and could give a rats ass about their lifetime customers. Don't ever get your oil changed here!!!! I have a Jaguar XF which my motor Nearly got fried because of this place. They changed the oil and didn't seal the cap properly. All the oil came out ruining my driveway and parking spot. Luckily I got the car back and they refilled the oil. They came back to clean up the oil but couldn't get out all the stains. When I came back, I had to wait another 2 hours and they didn't inspect the car at all. My brake pads were on low (without me knowing) and 3 months later the rotors needed to be replaced. These guys here don't do quality work, and are a liability. Only pro of this place is the drive through car wash if you don't have time to go up the street; where there is a full service wash for the near same price. read more

I had a terrible experience at Terribles... I came here for a smog check and they told me their computer wasn't connecting to the Dmv. It was an inconvenience but not a big deal. I left and decided to come back in a few days. I came back and it was working. They did my smog check and I go to my car only to find out they locked my keys in my car. They asked me if I had a spare... Uh yeah but I don't carry my spare key with my everywhere. I told them they better figure out how to get my keys out because this was not my mistake. Luckily, I left the window open a little and they found someone who had long enough arms to fit their arm in the car and unlock it. I won't be coming back here. read more

This place is a Chevron Station, Terrible Herbst Store and Terrible car Wash. This is an exterior car wash, but they do a really great job. Free self service vacuum, and you can build up for free washes based on how many times you come. They track your license so you don't have to use a punch card or anything. I like the quality of the wash, it gets the dirtiest car clean, if you buy the wash at the pump, you will get 20 cents off the gas as well@ Great deal! I love this place. read more

I've gone to this location for the past five years and have no complaints! The Lube/Smog is prompt. The technicians are courteous and go over the details of your service very well. One tip would be to go during the weekday as weekends are usually busy and have a longer wait time. I take my car to the car wash every other week and it always comes out nice and shiny. Wash isn't rough, I haven't noticed any scratches or dings in the paint. The machine rolls you through the wash and can service multiple cars at once. There is also a complimentary self service vacuum bay. Great place to get your car quickly washed or serviced! Will continue to be a customer. read more

After a full interior and exterior there is still crap all over the carpets, rocks (which definitely wasn't here before) and the front of the car is still filthy.... I went to put air in my tires. They charge you $1.50 for a couple of minutes of air, BUT you spend your time fighting the air hose from retracting. If you go here you need 2 people to put air in your tires, one to control the hose the other to put the air into tires. the air shuts off in about 3 minutes. RIP OFF. read more

Pretty decent exterior wash. I like how they have a couple of guys at the front of wash who scrub down your bumper and tires before you enter the wash. Helps get all that caked on debris off! Really satisfied with the wash. For $8 it's a tad pricey for a gas station car wash, but you do get 20cents off your gas and like I said, it did a good job. Go here if you don't mind the cashier walking away from the window the minute you pull up and leaves you sitting there for 3-4 minutes while he chats with someone in the booth. Ah, but the fun doesn't stop there. The person who brushes down you car...careful...he likes to SLAM the broom into your side windows - almost breaking them. Took my car in for an oil change and they always top off the fluids . . . well they added something to my brake fluid that was NOT brake fluid and a few days later, my brakes started squeaking and one night coming home from work, they seized/locked up and I barely made it home. My son sprayed water on all of my wheels and steam was coming off of them and I took my car to my auto shop the next morning to find out there was oil in my brake fluid and it burned all the rubber components in my brake system and had to pay over $1,500 for all new brakes! Thanks Terrible's for making me spend all that money when I shouldn't have, plus it was very dangerous driving my car! UGH!! read more

Have gone to this location a couple times before since I got my car for an oil change and it was okay but the time before this time I went to an actual car shop for my oil. So this last time I went here because it was close and still open when I got off work. All I wanted was an oil change and after the guy comes back to tell me that something is cracked and that it's pretty serious. So I ask him what it is/does and he had no idea, left twice to go ask someone outside and even came back trying to look it up on his phone but still no clue.. I understand they don't actually work on cars like that but the fact that they had NO idea what it was that was "cracked" was bothering me, so I just paid and left. I take my car to the shop the next morning and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car?? Like ok.. if you don't have any idea what you're talking about then just don't say anything? i've had my oil changed here a couple tmes, but this last time was pretty bad. They change your oil and are suppose to do an inspection on the car. The guy who checked my car called me over to review things about my car... he said he checked everything and he told me what i needed done. during this review of my car he told me that he checked my battery and it was still good. I've had my battery stall on me once before and i know for a fact that my battery was getting ready to die out. i asked another mechanic who was there, "if i turn the key and it sounds like it's struggling to turn on, what does that mean?" he responded, "it means your battery is probably dying."....uhh....yeah. i told him what the other mechanic said and he made him do the test in front of me. the first mechanic then said, you're gonna need to change it out cause it's realls low and shouls be operating at this capacity...LIAR!! first he said it was good and now he said it needs to be changed? good thing i said something cause i would've been stalled somewhere. =/...i opted NOT to change my battery there. i got my battery changed at sam's club instead. They gave me a battery for $20 cheaper AND a 5 year warranty vs a 3 year. read more
