He's got all the best qualities of an old-fashioned country doctor --accessible, personable, genuinely interested in his patients' needs and well being -- but his medical and scientific knowledge is top notch. I had a poor office experience today. This is the complaint I wrote to the front office…read more This email is a complaint about rude and unprofessional service by one of the staff. After taking off work early and driving 45 minutes to the office based on the receptionist stating I was good to come in for a Semaglutide shot. She looked me up in the system (asking for my name and DOB) I told her it had been some time since I had take the shot because at some point the office ran out BEFORE I came there. When I got to the office I was told that I needed to make an appointment. I asked for clarity as to why. She stated because it had been a while. I asked what the new appointment was for exactly(because I am the one paying and have a right to know). The front desk receptionist couldn't tell me why. I thought maybe I needed new blood samples or something so I told her that I had samples taken recently and if she could let them know because they may not be aware. She came back with the same response and I asked to speak to the person she was speaking with because I wanted to know what would take place at the office visit. A lady came out angrily and stated that I needed a new prescription(start over) and sign new documents (something I could have been told over the phone). I was okay with that until she yelled that I was arguing with everyone in the office. I told her I was sorry if she thought I was arguing. I just wanted clarity. I also requested for her to ask Dr Robin to be sure that I needed to come back (mind you that I had taken off work and drove 45 minutes based on the receptionist's information). Dr. Robin gave a clear understanding and I scheduled an appointment. The way the office personnel responded was crude, unprofessional, inconsiderate, and accusing. I assume that maybe she thought I just came to the office on a whim without calling to verify that it was okay. My ask is that all information needed is verified before having customers waste time coming to the office only to be turned around in the most unprofessional manner. When I find a new doctor that offers the shots, I will no longer use their services. I like the doctors but that staff member put a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't trust her to do right ethically based on her unprofessional customer service. We a patients have a right to ask question and not to be called argumentative because we seek clarity. It's our money spending and our insurance that's paying their salary.

Dr. Robbins is a professional and yet still warm and sensitive to her patients, which is a very hard thing to do. I am an RN with over 40 years of experience, mainly in a hospital setting and I have seen many Physicians, yet I have to say Dr. Robbins is one of the best, with a knowledge base and understanding bedside manner, that every patient deserves. I feel very lucky that I have Dr. Robbins as my Physician, and I would encourage anyone to seek her out for their own care. If I could put no stars as a rating, I absolutely would. This is probably the worst care facility…read morethat I've ever been a part of. My mychart messages were left unanswered for three weeks. And it took for me to go all the way up to the facility to question why my messages weren't being answered for them to simply say " sorry your doctor is only at this facility once a month". Why even assign a nurse practitioner as a PCP if she's not at the facility more than once a month? I was writing the facility to complain about chest pain that had been going on for a couple of months. I wanted to know what the next steps were in my treatment plan and nobody answered. They don't have a direct phone number to the facility and they encourage everybody to contact their physicians through mychart. They are also extremely unorganized at the front desk. ZERO OUT OF TEN! They don't care about their patients. Find somewhere else.

I had an appointment today at 9:15am and arrived at 9:00am. I walked in and signed in to see my…read moreprimary care physician. However, there was no one at the counter to acknowledge me when I signed in. I went and took a seat and there were like two others in the lobby with me at the time but they eventually got called the back. I even got up and moved in to their view so they could see that I had been sitting in the lobby with no acknowledgement. They began talking about a baby in the NICU and disregarded me. Another patient walks in and walks up and they speaks to her and asks who she is her to see and tell her to sign her name on the list. The clerk present her with a form to sign for her service for today and tells her they will call her back soon so the patient takes her seat. It is 9:30am, I get up and go there and ask how much longer would it be before I would be seen? The clerk at the desk finally asked what my name was and did I sign in? I replied yes and gave her my name and told her I arrived at 09:00am and who I was there to see. She then gave me a form to sign for my service and finally checked me in. She went to the back to inform the nursing staff and came back the front to tell me that it would be a few more minutes. But if I had not said anything how long would the clerks have sat and talked to each other about a baby in the NICU before they acknowledged I was sitting in the lobby by myself for over 20 mins?

Though this doctor was not right for me, he may be perfect for you. Points of Concern: 1) A bullet had been left in a specimen cup on the physician's table in the patient room. 2) The doctor asked if I had made any end of life decisions- and then mocked my choices. 3) He told me if I didn't take the medicine he prescribed, I could let my feet do the walking- I so look forward to open enrollment. 4) I summarized the purpose of my visit and he told me it was all in my head- then claimed he was joking. 5) If the hours posted on the door are correct, the clinic is only open four days a week. I am not sure how this man netted five stars on US News & World Report, but do note there have been zero reviews in the last twelve months.
