This review is based on the experience my wife and I had last weekend. If i can give them a Zero i would.
I CHALLENGE the owner to be a better person and to fully respect WOMAN especially if you're business that caters to customer service experience.
You're arrogance to follow us on the way out of the parking lot after my wife was over it and being rudely aggressive and agitated "Cursing at my wife and saying this your land i can do whatever you want" attitude is not acceptable.
I hope you come to realizations of your actions and regret what you did. Anyways would i personally go back to this place??? probably not Ice cream is Ice cream i can get it anywhere without being berating from an owner. Stay classy Yelpers and respect one another. CHEERS!!!
In short - pricey admission fee ($10 + tax), pricey ice cream ($5 + tax if you could even get some). Features: informative tour regarding lavender plants, nice lavender plants, not much else to do for the pricey admission. Staff was friendly enough but owner (Ian) is extremely rude and ruined the entire experience.

I've been wanting to come here for a while since I've heard about this place and was really excited. There's a nice tour, the lavender flowers are nice, and you can probably spend 90 minutes or so there if you like to take a lot of pictures. I was really looking forward to trying the lavender ice cream too, but unfortunately since I missed their last call, I wasn't able to purchase a ticket for ice cream. This is where the experience goes south.
I was redirected to the owner, Ian, and asked kindly if I could please get some ice cream since people were actually still being served ice cream as I was speaking to him. He started to tell me this is his home and they need to shut down the farm at some point. I didn't think that by asking as a paying customer willing to give them more business by buying $5 + tax for an ice cream cone that I would then be so RUDELY declined. Rude is the key word here. There are nicer ways to say no to people. He became argumentative, told me I was being unbelievable and compared his farm to a bank??? (Weird). I told him I'm going to walk away from him now and end this conversation because I actually enjoyed his farm. It wasn't really a conversation though since he was actually just yelling at me even as I walked away. He then followed me to the parking lot?! He over heard me talking to my husband about our confrontation and when I asked him "why are you following me?" He said "because this is my home and I'm listening to you b*tch to your husband." When he tried to complain to my husband ABOUT ME my husband said to him "don't curse to me about my wife that's just disrespectful." Wow. I feel so disgusted by this experience. There have been very few establishments where I've seen such blatant disrespect and this tops them. Overall, the farm was okay but the owner totally ruined part of my Canada Day long weekend. We chose to spend our time there and are now totally regretting it.
Go if you must, but I'll never go back and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go and give this guy Ian more business that he clearly doesn't appreciate. Terre Bleu lavendar farm is what it is, but don't expect the owner to provide customer service that goes above and beyond. And if you go, hopefully you don't encounter Ian, so you don't get cursed at during your visit. read more
