I met Patrick when his father was putting up a screen room at our house in Colfax. He said he was…read moregoing to put down stone where the grass was in our backyard and clean up our flower beds. He was going to add 5 to 10 plants to the flower beds. He never asked me what plants I wanted. He just brought over plants that he selected. One of the Hydrangeas immediately went into shock, and all of the flowers and leaves fell off of it. Six weeks later it still has not turned around. I showed it to Patrick, and he did not seem concerned. I had a very nice, mature plant that was supposed to be relocated to another part of the flower beds, but his crew mistakenly threw it out when they were cleaning up. He said he would replace it. He never did. This is despite me sending him several texts requesting that he replaces it. Also, many plants come from Home Depot so if they are not doing well, they can be returned. Since he purchased them, he would have to be the one to return them. His father and my husband had an argument regarding a charge for the screen room. This had nothing to do with me or with Patrick. The fact that he has ghosted me leads me to have to leave a bad review for him. I am not a landscaper, and I do not know how to fix the drip lines that he put in that are not working properly. I do not know what to. about the plants that are not thriving. I have done some research on the internet, but it would be nice if he would follow-up with me. His crew worked very hard to rip up the dead grass in my backyard and replace it with rock. The flower beds look very nice too. We would love to be 100% happy, but until he comes back to see why the plants are dying and brings me a plant to replace the one his crew threw away, I cannot be happy. I hope he does the right thing!

We found JN Landscaping randomly after calling a bunch of local places, and we are so glad we did…read more We had started a stone step and gardening project on our own, and after dozens of hours of work and digging we realized we were out of our league and needed professional help. We also needed it finished fast. We called around, and since our project was already half done and mostly dug, it seemed that nobody else wanted to take over a half completed project, and the ones who were willing to couldn't do it for weeks or months down the road. Not only did JN Landscaping want to help, but they were out and working within days of calling them. The project was completed way faster than we thought it would be and for an amazingly fair price (HALF of even the cheapest quotes we got from other places.) JN Landscaping not only completed the project exactly how we wanted it to be, but they did it for much less than their competitors and got it done extremely quick. We recommend them to anyone looking to have rock or stone work, plants & flowers, sprinkler or even any landscaping projects. 5 stars!

I had a good experience with Richar during my first project. But wait there's more . He and his…read morecrew laid some cement, cement pavers, laid some rock, and fixed a 30 y/o French drain. I got them donuts one morning and then ice cold beers on their last day as it was super hot while they worked. My issue was when I discovered weeks later that 1) my water bill was astronomical and 2) upon initial inspection I found a gusher on the side where the French drain was repaired. I called him back out to fix it and later discovered after he left that he probably initially caused the gusher during the repair process which I am guessing turned into a much bigger job than he originally anticipated. He suggested that the whole side yard get re-done and we agreed to a later date as I planned to hire him again because I was satisfied with the first job. Curious after he left, my bf and I went and dug up the side drip system and surprisingly found some janky fix it job with compression fittings, T and elbow adaptors, and barbed drip couplings that were not there prior. In fact I paid a little extra on the original job knowing that the French drain was a pain to fix. I contacted Richar and told him of my discovery and he did not respond to my text but it was marked a read. In fact he arrived and brought out a bag of barbed drip couplings right away which I later put together that he already knew what the job needed before even seeing it because he caused it. Richar: if you would like to make this right with me text me and I would be willing to hear you out and consider taking this review down pending outcome.
