Lili answered my quote inquiry from Yelp within an hour on a Sunday and was able to have 2 guys come out within an hour to do an in person estimate. We have a huge tree in our front yard that probably has never been pruned besides the branches I've hacked off myself and 2 stumps that we said we were "gonna dig out" for the past 5 years. One guy climbed the tree and started slanging the chainsaw and tree pruner like it was nothing. The other two guys were snatching branches as they fell and threw them in the wood chipper. I got multiple quotes for the removal of 3 liquid amber trees from my front year at my rental property in Yuba City. In addition, I had several large shrubs removed from the side of the front yard. The crew that showed up spent the entire day getting all the work completed and the quality of the work was excellent. Very easy to talk to, and explain what I needed, In addition to the tree removal, they ground out all the stumps, including many surface roots shooting across the front lawn. This review is way overdue. They worked with my cypresses last year and as I was recommending them to a friend of mine I realized I didn't post a review on Yelp. So here it goes. During the winter storms we had on January 2023 one of my old cypresses (~70 y.o.) got severely damage and it was service by another arborist. However, this crew only focused on removing that tree and made no further assessment of the other cypresses even when I let them know I was concern of the impact on the surviving trees, the storm and the removal of the affected tree, might be. My concerns were not unfounded. Some months later it was obvious that another tree was unwell. I called C&L Gallardos Extreme Tree Service when they let a placard on my front door. Initially I just wanted to evaluate how much attention they pay to my concerns about my cypresses. Indeed, Lilly was very attentive, answered all my questions, and gave me some options. Her response was so professional that I immediately schedule an appointment with them to check on the trees. Afterwards they contacted me with their professional assessment. I felt confident with their judgement and scheduled the removal service. I truly believed that I would have save money, time, and personal stress if I had contacted them first. They came and knocked on our door cause they were working elsewhere in the area. They were able to give me an instant quote to remove a tree in my front yard which was fair and reasonable. It took me a few days to get back to them, but when I called (late on a Friday, I was expecting to connect with them the next week) they were able to come back the next day (Saturday). Their 4 man team was quick and efficient, the tree was down and gone within two hours aside from the usual saw dust and bits of wood chips (not a big deal) and they neatly stacked firewood length logs for me. Scheduled a tree trimming. Had about 6 messages back and forth. Confirmed a price, date and time, took the day off to be home, and then they were a no call no show. Edit: 2 1/2 hours after I called and asked if they were showing up, and 5 minutes after this post I got a call offering an apology. Our 60 foot pine tree fell over due to the high winds during the New Year's Eve storm. What a big mess we had in our yard as well as my neighbors and our whole street. Called around and got a lot of estimates. By far C&L had the best price. They were there the next morning in the rain and took care of everything including stump grinding. While they were there we asked about another huge Magnolia tree that was way overgrown and a mess and another tree in our front yard. They gave us such a good price on the other 2 trees we ended up agreeing to have them take those 2 down too.
